Colleen B.Colleen B.: It is currently Sept 2023 and I was sent tea with a lot date of Nov 2021 and expiring in 2 months. And I can’t return it. It’s not cheap tea. The least they could do is send new product!

Sean McDonagh: I do drink lots of sencha (Ito-En) and it sells for under $25CDN per box of 100. Harney Sencha is also excellent but more expensive! Can you sell in boxes of 100?

Melanie: I love all of Harney and Sons teas, this Sencha is no exception. Authentic flavor and very nourishing, the Harney’s directly import this tea from farms in Japan. Founder John Harney used to start every day with this tea, and I can see why. I am more of a black tea drinker myself, but when I have a craving for real green tea, this is my favorite. Make sure you don’t use boiling water or it will have a bitter taste, the water should be around 195 degrees and don’t oversteep it, about 3 minutes is about right. Each bag can be reused 2-3 times. Wonderful tea and highly recommended.

Liba Malkin: Hate that most of the teabags are torn/broken/ not closed properly. The tea leaves spill all over the place

George: This is a mild green tea. It's ok and If I had to I would buy again. Don't know of any benefits from it but I'll just enjoy it as a regular green tea.

🔹 Catrinka 🔹: I've been drinking this green tea by Harney & Sons for years. While I occasionally treat myself to the company's flavored green teas (Tropical and Thai Flavor), I usually stick to this regular Sencha primarily because H&S's flavored teas contain artificial flavoring as well as natural. Not a biggie...but wish they only used natural flavorings since I primarily drink green tea throughout the day for health reasons. This Sencha tea, however, is 100% natural spring-picked green tea leaves.
I find their "sachets" to be so much higher quality than the regular tea "bags." Most tea bags (including Harney & Sons') contain little crumbled bits of brownish-colored tea. The sachets, however, are full of nice, big pieces of green tea leaves. The difference is especially noticeable when you've removed the steeped sachet. The hot water rehydrates the leaves and they appear nearly as fresh green leaves. So much better than brown crumbles. I can usually get a second cup from each sachet...sometimes even a third cup (although it is a bit less flavorful). While I usually keep a canister of loose sachets for daily use, it's convenient to have the individually-wrapped sachets for...

Laurie Enright: First, I’d say that I love this tea. But more importantly, there were only 19 sachets rather than 20. Strange. Unacceptable.
