Abigail E. Chappell: I bought this book thinking that if I read "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie", then it would follow logically. Unfortunately, it now appears to me that you have to read the whole series (e.g., "If You Give a Moose a Muffin", etc.) to know all the characters in the book. Anyway, it's a cute book, and I think my preschool class will still enjoy it on Valentine's Day, but I wish I'd realized sooner that we needed to read the whole series first!
