HAN-MM Wooden High Chair for Babies: Gray Removable Tray for Easy Cleanup

Sara: I was nervous to purchase this after reading reviews but I am so glad that I did. I have twins so naturally needed two. I love how they look, they are very sturdy, easy to clean, and comfortable for my babies. They are stable and safe unlike some reviews stated ( I don't have toddlers so I don't know about them climbing up into it themselves.) Never had any issues with anyone tripping over the legs (even with kids and dogs everywhere). I love the size of them. I hate how some highchairs are giant plastic monstrosities that take up your whole kitchen. These are the perfect size to sit in front of to feed your baby comfortably and they fit perfectly under my table so as my children get older they can be used as a chair and sit up to the table with the rest of us. I like that the come with shorter legs as well so when they are toddlers they can be used as chairs for a child sized table. Very happy with these and they look great in my home.

Pheonixe: The chair itself is good looking enough, which isn't the reason you buy a highchair, but it's true. The Assembly isn't hard by any stretch, but the wood pieces are a little imperfect. You will need the full extension of at least a couple of the feet in order to make the seat sit level.
Where is chair suffers though, is that there is virtually nothing that can be done one-handed, in fact, sometimes it can't be done with three or four hands. The tray needs 2 hands to attach and detach, that is not always easy to do when one hand is usually on the child. The tray will not sit flat on any surface because there is a large horn on the bottom of it designed to separate the baby's legs. So if you want to remove the tray, you need 2 hands to do it, and if there is any food on it, when you set the tray down, all of the food will slide off of it onto wherever you set it because it has to sit at a right angle. So, why not take the insert off off the food tray? Well, there are 3 lock points there, so left, right, center. If you remove the insert, put it in the sink, remove the tray with both hands, then go back to undo the 5 point harness, by this point your child is...

turbo_911: First of all, wanted to say I am not sure how other people find it a trip hazard. This is not the first high chair I've owned, and it is more compact than for example Ingenuity Trio 3-in-1 High Chair that we have. As for sturdiness, yes it does wobble itself but if you loosen the 4 legs slightly and then re-tighten them while in standing position, it should solve that problem.

Now to an actual review.

The chair itself is very stylish and modern looking, that's one of the main reasons why we bought it. Also matches our kitchen chairs and table very well.
The chair was easy to assemble, didn't take too long, my 3-year old was helping as well. The seat and the tray is plastic, while the legs are wooden. The seat cushion/cover is leather like material, easy to clean. Make sure the Velcro adapters are attached well to the seat, I've seen people complained about it. Mine was loose but once I put some pressure, it adhered well to the plastic chair and the seat cushion doesn't move anymore.

Not sure why people complain about the tray being too tight and having 2 latch points which makes you use 2 hands, I think it is a great safety feature. My...

PACKAGING
Each portion came wrapped individually in plastic, within its own box, within an amazon box. Easy to open and organized/packaging properly.

ASSEMBLY
Super easy to follow the assembly instructions pamphlet. Legs connect, add the seat and foot rests, and then add the tray table. The seat already comes assembled with the straps and cushion to it, so all you have to do it screw it onto the legs. Comes with the tools; but if you have the drill attachment for an Allen key, then that will just save you some screw time.

QUALITY
Our old highchair was very modern and stylish, but felt extremely flimsy and lightweight. While this chair isn't heavy, it does have some weight to it truly give it that sturdy and quality feel. Easy to move around the house, too. The only thing I did prefer on the older highchair was that the tray table was able to be moved back/forth with one hand (button was in the front); this highchair has the buttons/levers on both sides. Although, you can use one hand to wiggle it back/forth on each side, it is just a smidge more time...
