Abree V.: If you have a sensory seeker or a kid that loves swings, this is by far a fabulous product. We decided we wanted to place our swing in a different location than originally planned when purchased. Unfortunately, this new doorway was wider than the bar allows. I reached out to Gym1's customer service and had a received a quick reply. They do indeed have a wider bar option (which I hadn't been able to find) in addition to the extended vice grips we needed. Not only did they inform me that they produced the larger bar, they shipped out both the larger bar and the extended vice grips free of charge within a couple days. Definitely impressive! So far over the last week, with LOTS of use, it has held up excellently! Would highly recommend.

MISS L: This looked like a great product and we were very pleased with how quickly it arrived. It’s great quality and looks very sturdy and robust. When trying to assemble it we discovered that it didn’t fit our doorway so couldn’t securely fastened it to the frame. We had brought this for our sons who have autism & who get lots of sensory feedback from swinging, climbing, hanging etc. We were disappointed that it didn’t fit but we have since bought an outdoor swing which has carabiner clips so we can still use all the attachments. It would have been perfect if it had fitted but our doorframes have lots of grooves and (in my opinion) the frame is designed for flatter surfaces. We are keeping everything as it’s a great product and may fit the doorframes in any future houses we may live in.

S E BENSLEY: I absolutely love this and so does my little boy. He is 3 1/2 and loves it. On and off it all day, loves the swing the most.. he has high sensory needs so I bought a pod to hang on it which he also loves.
Best buy ever, took me a while to build but got there in the end..

Julia: I love this. Even though it’s complicated to install (in our older house without perfectly square doorways) it is still the best thing in our playroom. Honestly I want a few to put around the house, but we just don’t have other doorways that would accomodate!
Make sure to measure and double check the installation and dimensions.

KDuncanKDuncan: I really wanted to love this but the only person using it is my 41 lb son and after one day it's peeling this part of my door away so now he can't use it.
Also the top part is really hard to keep on as well. It kept falling and hitting me in the head during install and I ended up having to use clamps to keep it in place.

Heather: PROS: Apartment friendly. No drilling in the wall. Very sturdy. Helps your little one get their energy out when you are stuck indoors. The instructions are very clear. Very helpful for parents who work from home.

I don't really have any cons.

I build things and fix things around the home all of the time. I am convinced that the people who left bad reviews do not know how to install things properly. The bad reviews almost turned me off from buying it and made me scared to buy this. My 5 year old is extremely rough with toys and always breaking things. We had ordered then right before we contracted covid and it saved us. He got all of his energy out while I was stuck on the couch. He uses this for hours at a time per day. We have not had any issues because I installed in properly per the instructions.

UPDATE: a year later and it’s still going strong!!! My son is autistic and uses about half the day at home. It has not fallen at all. He also has a friend that is around 100 pounds and his friend swings on it just fine.

Follow instructions and follow what type of door you need for it to be installed and you’ll be fine.
