LW Raboys: The SpiceHunter Jamaican Allspice gets 5 stars for flavor but I deducted 1 star because of packaging. It comes with a plastic sealing over the exterior, but alas, no inner seal. Moreover, there is no shaker top. Fortunately, the jar is standard size so the plastic shaker insert from my old jar fit onto it, but really, how much more would it cost the company to add a plastic shaker insert? 1 or 2 cents?

C. Bayne: This stuff is good, but just so you know, if you like to put a little in your coffee and accidentally dump in about a teaspoon, it makes your coffee undrinkable. This is SOOOOO strong that you don't need to use much to get a good flavor.
We went to Jamaica a few years ago and finally ran out of the Allspice that we had bought there. While I thought that meant we had to go back to Jamaica (you know, to restock), apparently our finances didn't agree with me. Stupid finances. Anyway, this will do until we go back.
