DHL: I loved this book, particularly Tim's practical advice. Refreshing to have someone be logical and motivating about moving, fitness and general health without an ulterior motive of wanting to support their future income stream of fad diet or fitness programme.
Tim doesn't believe in a one-size-fits-all, and stresses that you know your body best, and if you don't gives you some tools to discover what works for you, and tells you what he has learnt in the last decade or so.
I also just loved that the book is peppered with stories of Faith, his girls, his band, his community, his thoughts, his values, and how they have helped him to reach and maintain his goals.
He motivated me to get out the door and walking, and I am most grateful.

D'Anna Watson: Inside look at Tim's restoration and physical fitness journey with great tips and personal insight. He's not a certified trainer, but I'm certain he had insight from one writing this book. Nothing seemed harmful or irrational. I found useful tips but there were some repeating moments that seemed a little overkill, but overall I was NOT disappointed reading it. Understand, this is a glimpse in to HIS journey where he shares his insights and motivation. This is not a self help book.

Matt Blakesley-Spicer: This book offered me the chance to reflect on why and how I got my life back on track and subsequently became a coach in fitness and mental health.
It also offers an insight into the life and mindset of the great man himself and is as life affirming as it is practical.
It offers simple yet effective advice (that is tried & tested by Tim himself) on how to improve your mind, body and life in general.
When clients ask me what they can do in order to support the work we do together, I simply say read this book!!

KR: This is Awesome book!!!
It has helped me to conquer things I would have normally given an excuse for not doing!!!
It is so well written and Tim’s perspectives are 100% Bang on!!!
My perspective of this book isn’t just about conquering exercise.
I use to drink Wine every night!! It would be 2-3 glasses during the week and of course quite a few on Weekends.
With Tim’s book I was able to use these techniques to stop drinking all the time.
It has only been 8 weeks to date but when I’ve tried in the past...I would stop during the week BUT drink even more on the weekends!!
I have also used his wisdom to conquer losing weight.
So, so far I haven’t had a drink in 8 weeks and have lost 22.6 lbs.
My next goal is to start running.
If you are him’ng & huh’ng on purchasing this book....just do it!!
You won’t be sorry!!!!

Amazon Customer: Loved the Book. Tim proves that anyone can make a major shift in their wellbeing with some effort, intention and support. Would have liked to hear some more stories about his family and the road/stage, however book was still great.

Sactogator: Let me start off by saying that I hope Tim reads these reviews, because I definitely feel like a success story. Also, I don't buy some of the negative reviews about how everything in the book is tailored for rich folks who can afford giant trailers of workout gear. The author makes it clear he wants you to take what he has learned and apply it to your own circumstances. Some people have also said that Tim likes himself and how he looks, that he's narcissistic, to which I would say yeah, I would too if I could get in that great of shape. That said, I've read/tried lots of workout/nutrition books, and this is the first one that I've really stuck with, and the reason is I totally relate to the author's life experiences, i.e. hitting middle age (late middle age for myself) and just not liking what I see in the mirror, feeling depressed, and knowing I can do better. I'm also retiring in one year and want to be in shape to do all the things I've talked about doing in retirement, especially being there for my family. Even more, after I started this program I did, like he says in the book, begin to feel better, not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well, and am definitely...
