Tracy P: The product worked well, until it didn't. Suddenly stopped working completely, won't even turn on. The unit is only about a year old, but it wasn't even used the first 6 months because I bought it right before we moved and it stayed in its box for a while. I ran it daily through the winter, but during the nice spring and summer weather I had it off, when windows were open. I just started to use it again and the second time I set the "away mode" it stopped completely. Disappointed with its short lifespan. I had an Ecoquest product before this that lasted 12 yrs.

Amazon Customer: I purchased two of the Green Air Pro units a year and a half ago because everything else I have ever tried never eliminated cigarette smoke coming from neighboring apartments (especially below me). Through much research, I found out that ozone is the only thing that can actually do that. Ozone in an air purifier cleans and eliminates odors from the air in the same way a thunderstorm does for the outdoor air. I was told straight up by this company that cleaning air takes time. It can only eliminate what was already in the air. If the smoke or other offending odor is still being released into the air, it will take time for that to be removed. In other words, what it is eliminating at that moment is what was previously released in the air, so anything newly released will be eliminated a while later (anywhere from 30 min to 2 hrs on average).
I waited so long to review because I wanted to be certain how well (and long) this product would function. However, as far as customer service, I could have immediately given a 5 star review, because JB Innovative Products truly understands what 5 star customer service looks like. Never in my life have a seen such a quick response to emails...

Art: To be fair, I have only had this G.A.M for a week. I am NOT disappointed in it at all, I have just tempered my expectations a little after reading some of the outlandish reviews before ordering this.

I will try to keep this brief.

IMO, the feature that sets this apart from other, run-of-the-mill air purifiers, is in the fact that you can change the level of Ozone it emits. You can control every aspect of this machine. The UV light is, IMO, sort of gimmicky. Yes, UV light does kill germs and what not, but based on what I have read, in a machine such as this, it is likely that it only has a slight effect of sterilizing the air. A good analogy would be trying to catch all of the water from a fire hydrant in a Dixie cup. You'll get some, but far from all that passes by. So it works, but the level at which the UV light works is debatable IMO. It's better than nothing.

The Ozone feature definitely works, judging from the smell. This is the feature that gives the air that clean smell. However, the catch is that ozone is supposedly not good for you, and can actually make you sick at high levels. I think it's kind of a double edged sword to have a machine that will...
