Wayne: Good quality, big enough to fit normal 8 1/2" X 11" tax returns & client info. Has clasp and gummed flap on end. Fits nicely inside a Post Office "Priority Mail" flat rate 12.5 X 9.5 2nd day mailer for mailing out tax return copies. Been using these for many years.

Shari: A nice change from pure white or kraft paper envelope colors. Large enough to put in catalogs, file folders, etc... with ease. Kind of a medium weight -- not super heavy, but certainly not thin. We have yet to rip one. The clasp is sturdy, too. We have to open and close these a lot have have yet to break the clasp on even one.

As mentioned by others, light clasp marks can be noticed on some of the 9 x 12 envelopes. That's probably due to the weight of the envelopes on top of each other. I haven't noticed any on the 10 x 13 size.
The 9 x 12 came in a marked box, as for the 10 x 13 came in an unmarked box .

Maggie Lei: The color is great and classy, and the paper is pretty durable. But the envelope is just barely big enough to fit a 9x12 piece of cardstock paper (you're gonna have to squeeze and deform the envelope, and then the top flap won't close properly), and a couple of clasps ripped right out when I was just handling the envelope.
It's great for 8.5x11 documents I guess! And I'm still using the ones I ordered as storage and delivery envelopes. Just wish they fit the size they advertised.
