I would find other dental bones tucked away in different corners of the house.

Amazon Customer: My dog loves these! It is really hard for me to get a dog treat that she isn't allergic too. These are great - I wish they were bigger.

Precise Disarray: My 85 lb English Lab has rather discerning tastes, enough so that she might get her dog card taken away. Then she tries to grab snacks out of the cat litter box and her status is unquestionably, firmly canine.
Bought these because I am used to buying treats she doesn't like. Thinking that these too would go to waste (or gifted to a friends less picky dog), I was surprised to find out that my baby girl likes these. A lot! She gets all frisky and silly with it for a couple of minutes; tossing it is to the air, rolling around on ground with it, mildly stalking it then finally gnawing on it until its gone.
Pros:
She likes these clean apple Z-bones. Tasty and fun to play with.
Ingredients seem decent. Appear highly digestable. No weird poops or digestion issues so far.
Cons:
Unfortunately it is consumed quickly. I wont take a star away for that since I bought these as treats. But is was 2-3 minutes of fun, max.Maybe your dog will savor it.

CM: My dog is 10.5 pounds and we get these in carrot in the mini size. He gets one a day. We like them and so does he!
About my dog: he's 8 years old now, has aging teeth (plaque/tartar, getting unpleasant breath, but he isn't missing any teeth and they're in otherwise good condition). He has so many food sensitivities to different types of meats and all grains, so he's on a grain free, single protein food.
What we like about these bones: Firstly they have great ingredients! They also don't smell bad like many dog treats/bones do. To me, they have an herbal, carrot/pumpkin smell. They don't have animal protein, which is great for my dog because of his sensitivities. This would also be good for people who'd rather avoid meat products for whatever reason. These bones get rid of his bad breath and he really enjoys them.
Things that aren't as good for us: the bones aren't that hard (I could break one in half by hand pretty easily) and don't last very long (less than 5 mins), so in that way they're similar to treats. I sort of wish they'd last longer, but he really does enjoy them and they do help his breath as I said.
This next thing isn't really a con since it's...

Jamie: Our puppy enjoys these, however we were looking for something to last him a little longer - he usually finishes one of these bones within 5 minutes as they are a softer bone. If you would like them to last longer, put one in a kong - I've started doing this because it sometimes takes our puppy up to 15-20 minutes. We like them because they have natural ingredients, which are healthier than other products.

Amazon Customer: My small dog loves the taste and the firmness, it takes her awhile to finish the treat so she is cleaning her teeth while eating. Great product.

DebMcD2021: "The Boyz" (a 90 lb. lab and a 70 lb. Shepard mix) LOVE these! I often give them as a Sunday Treat! They are rather expensive - so the guys don't get them often - but when they do - they are very well received. All of the Zukes products we have tried are very good, the boyz really like them, overall they are great quality products.

Bailey Brady: Recently my dog has become very picky about his chews, and he's stopped eating his old ones and started hiding them under my pillow. Needless to say, we needed to find a new dental chew that was both healthy and something he would actually eat. If you have an EXTREMELY picky dog these may not work out. My dog is picky as far as things he'll chew on (they need to be fragrant enough), but he will eat literally anything. Like I said, he's rejected his old chews now (which don't smell like anything and are mainly potato-based). These do have a bit of a fragrance to them, but nothing you can smell from far away that will annoy you when feeding them, I had to stick my nose right in the bag to smell it. Fortunately, he does eat them! He doesn't "love" them as other reviews have said, but he will eat them which is really all I care about for a dental chew. I'm giving them five stars because they're not too expensive, the ingredients are good, and because my dog did eat them so they served the purpose I needed them for without me having to spend $20 a bag. Will be trying the berry ones soon to see if he reacts better to those. As far as improving breath, my dog has a naturally stinky...

E. Gould: Definitely by this on here if possible, in the "natural" pet store they're charging almost twice as much. These are a great alternative to the "other" dental dog chew options. Our boy got a very sick stomach from the other main stream one & of the ingredient list was ridiculous. We couldn't tolerate giving them to him any more but he still had stinky breath! So we snatched these up when we found them as an option. Our picky eater will eat them ok, I have to hold it in my hand until he chews it a bit to get the flavor of it, otherwise he wants to just hid them like a toy. He doesn't realize they are food until he gets a good scrapping of the bone. It works really, really well on his breath! It's a miracle how much better he smells. It doesn't last too long, but what do you expect. He only gets them once a week or so, because even on here they are super expensive & considered a "treat".

Amazon Customer: My dogs love these. They are getting harder to find and I hope the manufacturer brings them back. My local pet store used to carry them but could no longer get them.
