Adrianna: This car seat base is waay way better than the one that came with our baby carrier. The hooks that you snap into those spots in your car are way easier to put in and to release than the original one. It also has a lever that comes down if you are straping it in with a seatbelt and secures over the seat bekt which our original doesnt have. I got 3 total bases. One for my car, one for my husband's and one for anyone who may be babysitting. Clicks in the carrier really well and has been really great for us
