chrislovespoodles: This works really well, however, as others have said, after several months the paint in the pan began to peel. I was very careful cleaning it. This doesn't affect the cooking, though, because the food is placed on the removable tray. That's how I use it.

S.H.: We thought long and hard about buying this model, and eventually pulled the trigger owing to its good reviews and overall price point. We had to clean it out first, as the first several cookings had a bit of a chemical / factory odor, but this wasn't all that hard. (White vinegar in an oven safe dish run on 3-5 cycles did the trick.)

At this point we're going to buy some sort of basket for the interior, as for stuff like homemade fries (which this model excels at) you can't make too large of a batch before the airflow is impeded, producing an uneven cook. Our only other issue is that one of the four silicon nubs on the baking tray has slipped off, so we'd like to ask the manufacturer to send us a couple of spare ones. Can't cost more than a buck or two, but not sure how to order them.

Overall, we love this machine. Doesn't work for everything (pizza, for example - too small) but what it does it does perfectly.

Mary: I just got this a week ago. It's a beautiful air fryer, very easy to clean, use, and much lighter than most air fryers I've seen. A great future is that this one is programmable, much cheaper than most air fryers that do the same thing, and has a digital display. I've done french fries, grilled veggies and it worked really well. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat healthier without excessive amounts of oil and appreciate stylish small appliances on the kitchen countertop.
