GoWISE USA 3.7 Quart Dial Control Air Fryer - Cook Healthy Meals with Less Oil

Cyndy: Be careful! I had this air fryer for over a year. I used it about12 times. The basket is now coming away from the base. This happened the last 2 times I used it, always when I have something hot in it. Burnt my foot and and bruised it. The machine works well, and it is a great concept. Food is always nice and crispy. Poor engineering? Or planned obsolescence? . I hope I can get a replacement part for those 2 pieces.

tracy: I use this allot more than I thought I would. It does a great job with frozen veggie burgers and fries but I have found some really great vegan soy curl recipes that make fabulous jerky with minimal effort and minor cleanup. I use this machine so much it has a permanent place on my counter. Easy to clean, heats up quickly and seems nice and sturdy without being really heavy. If your going to a beach house or RV trip this would be a great appliance take along

LeoLeo: Producto importado. Funciona como un horno. El interior de la freidora es de teflón por lo que es difícil que se le pegue la comida. El material exterior es plástico corriente, y aunque la marca es americana se ve muy chino. Sirve para "freir" nuggets y comida de ese tipo, que vienen en caja o en bolsa y venden en el pasillo de congelados de los supermercados. El sabor de la comida no es igual porque al no utilizar aceite o grasa pues se pierde ese sabor, esto se nota por ejemplo al hacer unas papas a la francesa. Lo suelo usar a 340 o 360 °F por 20 o 25 minutos, volteando 2 o tres veces la comida para que quede igual por ambos lados. Ocupa mucho espacio, y la uso si acaso una vez a la semana, por lo que si tienes una cocina pequeña y cocinas muy poco este tipo de alimentos te recomiendo que lo pienses antes de comprarlo.

He hecho papás, alitas, boneless, tamales, bistec, pollo, cerdo y quedan deliciosos. Alguna cosas le puedes agregar una pequeña tapita de aceite simplemente para que agarren un poquito de color. Pero el sabor con o sin aceite es Excelente

D House: I decided to get the grease out of my diet, and this did it. I cook french fries now, and enjoy crisp non greasy fries now. One of my favorite things now is pizza. It makes an ideal pizza for one. I buy greek style peta from Walmart, uses 2 table spoons of pizza sauce, about 2 ounces of mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and if I have mushrooms, or peppers or whatever..I let the air fryer heat to 360, plop it into the fryer, cook for 10-12 minutes. Its just great, easy, and fast..the crust is crispy too. One little trick is to set the temp..then set the time for 15 minutes, because it takes about 3 minutes to heat, plop it in and let it cook till the time runs out in another 12 minutes. Just that alone makes it work the money to me..but I also cook frozen chicken tenders, I've cooked chops etc. It's fun to experiment. They include a 50 recipe book, it has some good ideas and tips. Judith Floyd: I bought this brand because of price. A relatively inexpensive way to check out air frying. Have only had for 2 weeks, so I, too, may find it does not last. I use it every day and just love how great the food tastes: Best salmon ever and love to make fries from sweet potatoes and turnips; Also roasted peppers and Brussels sprouts are perfect and is so nice to leave oven off. I usually cook for one or two—think would want a larger capacity air fryer if cooking for more. If this one breaks I would definitely replace given ease of use and great tasting healthy food.

LK: I am so happy with my air fryer, it lives up to all the hype. I love that it only takes 3 minutes to preheat, and it does not make my kitchen hot like the oven does. The basket is large and very easy to clean. There is a handle on the top that makes it easy to lift and move. I've used it to cook frozen foods, roast cauliflower, cook par-baked bread, breaded tofu, burritos, potatoes and carrots... All fantastic.
If I could do this again, I would upgrade to the digital face model. Here's why: the timer knob is hard to read unless you are standing directly in front of it (as opposed to at a slight angle). Also, whatever you do, do not try to turn the dial off by turning it backwards. I accidentally did this and now the dial is off by 2 or 3 minutes. The other reason why I would upgrade to the digital face is because this does make a constant ticking noise, like an egg timer. I'm used to it now, but it is a little annoying. Also, if your food is done before the timer is off, you can take the basket out and the unit will stop cooking, but the timer will keep ticking until the time is up. If the dial and the ticking won't bother you, absolutely get this item.
