Gourmet Black Tea from The Republic of Tea - Blackberry Sage Blend

Kate D Nash: This has been my morning tea choice for over 25 years. It’s a nice black tea with hints of blackberry and sage with a sweet fruity aroma. It’s my comfort tea and will purchases for as long as it’s available. It’s a bit pricier on Amazon than at the grocer but I’m without a car right now so it’s all Amazon.

Don: I liked it but didn’t completely love it. The blackberry flavor was soft, not real strong. The sage was also very soft and almost not noticeable.
When I have fruit teas, I like a stronger flavor their ginger peach is outstanding, and I was expecting it to be similar in strength of flavor, but still a good tea overall.

JK: I’ve purchased both the Wild Blueberry and the Blackberry Sage, and both are delicious.
The Blueberry flavor is much stronger and more noticeable, while the Blackberry Sage flavor is more subtle. If you want a lot of fruity flavor in your tea I’d definitely recommend the Blueberry.
I have tried fruit flavored teas from other brands, and though I have enjoyed trying those fruity black teas I often find that other brands’ fruit flavors seem artificial, especially compared to these teas.
The way I usually drink these teas is to make a double cup of tea, with one plain black tea bag + one fruity tea bag. That’s just how I like it. I’ve already purchased another Wild Blueberry because I really enjoy this particular Wild Blueberry tea. I also really like the tins these teas come in. When I finish a tin I reuse them to store other teas that came in a pouch or box.

just stah: To begin, I hate black tea. However, I read some of its benefits so began a search. I wound up ordering Blackberry and Sage black tea. Spendy, yeah, but who knows. Got it today and made a cup. Needless to say I think this might be a drink I keep around. Absolutely love love love it! AND I didn't add any sugar.

Canada Buyer 76: Very fragrant and low level bitterness for a black tea. Excellent quality - have purchased 7 tins thus far. YES - IT IS EXPENSIVE, but if you’re a tea drinker and not a coffee drinker you’ll know that good quality tea usually comes at a price. Very happy with this product.

Haggai Toledano: Very good taste of blueberry, feels natural, like tasting the fruit itself.
The aroma is also fabulous.
One tea bag can be reused for two to three cups without losing the flavour.
Really good tea, will buy again.
