We had a small problem and I contacted the company, they answered very rapidly and they quickly fixed the problem. They were very nice. We definitely recommend this bike.

André Fortin: Je voulais justement poser la question à savoir, concernant la batterie, il y a 4 lumières indiquant le degré de chargement.
Avec une charge complète, je m'attendais à voir 4 lumières vertes au lieu de 3 vertes et 1 rouge?
Question:
Est-il normal, lorsque la batterie est totalement rechargée, que l'on vois que 3 lumières vertes?

Al B.: The bike came very quickly and was packaged extremely well, lots of protection. Only needed the handlebars, seat, pedals front wheel and fenders to be attached. This all went very easily. The battery charged up in about 4 hours.
I do have a few minor concerns, first the seat is only so, so, the problem occurs if you would like to change it. The shaft is different from standard size , so changing it from a regular bike is not as simple a merely putting in a new shaft and seat. I did use a shim around a standard shaft to make it fit, to enable me to mount a more comfortable seat. The othe issue I have is that the handlebar shaft is not able to be raised. It is a fixed height system, so it can't be raised up. I like to ride a little more upright if I can. One other minor issue is that the largest gear on the front could be a bit larger, at higher speeds it means you pedal a bit faster than a normal bike. I find that I only use the top range, but saying that I have not used it in a mountain bike ride, only roads so far. I have put on about 120 Kms so far. The other very minor issue is that the trip odometer resets after each shut down, meaning that if you stop for a rest too long...

jomarie: Bike is very nice, gears work, brakes work, very light, peddle assist works very good as well. that was my issue with my other electric bikes. it was either always on or had to turn off. this has 5 levels. even has a horn and light I did not see. it was a very good deal I got on Prime day. I chose this bike, because it was returnable which is important when you buy an expensive item like this. although it showed it was from New york the manufacturer was over seas so I was a little nervous in its quality but it is very nice and sturdy

Hermit58Hermit58: There is a LOT to like about this bicycle. Unfortunately, the documentation is not one of them. I am a retired Quality Systems Manager and Nuclear Technician. So, I demand precision and quality. I gave four stars because although the bicycle itself possesses these attributes, the documentation provided left much to be desired. No actual operational instructions were provided. Simple slap together instructions for the assembly and a quick note on a few of the functions of the computer. Certainly no details about the functions of the computer and absolutely no instructions on how to ride the bicycle. All of that aside, this is a fantastic machine! I weigh 225 lbs., and I can ride it nearly all day long without worrying about it running out of power. I've even noticed it charging itself going down hills! The lockable front suspension is very nice. I added a rear view mirror and water bottle holder. It's 21 speeds (3x7), not 7 as shown in some online posts. I usually leave the front sprocket in high gear, but sometimes leave it in the middle if I'm going slow. If the battery ever runs out, which has not yet happened during a day trip, it's nice to know that the lowest 3rd gear up...

Interimpulse: Wow, this bike is amazing! I was incredibly skeptical and there were not many reviews yet either... but woah is this thing super nice and so much fun!

It took me about 4-5 hours to assemble and adjust everything, including a few short test rides without connecting the battery yet. It feels great riding it even without the battery, btw.

The instructions are fairly terrible, but it is not difficult to figure out. I have only assembled one other bike before, so I am no expert. Another review mentioned that the lcd display is an S830, and looking up how to operate it on YouTube was super helpful.

I bought and assembled two of these and my wife and I have been giggling like little kids again as we zoom past everyone on the trails. The battery has been impressive so far as well.

I am so happy with this purchase!

Joe: The media could not be loaded.  The GOTRAX EBE2 is exactly what i was looking for in a bike. I use to ride my normal bike to work everyday and over time my knees and back began to hurt from past college sport injuries which made me not want to ride any more . This made me upset because i enjoy my daily ride to work in the mornings and i also enjoy the satisfaction of knowing i am helping the environment as well. So once i saw the EBE2 i knew i needed to give it a try. This bike is truly worth the money, with a massive 50 miles per battery charge i rarely find my self charging it. It goes 20mph and has a great pedal assist option that truly takes some pressure off my knees. In full honesty this bike is just a great time. If you are an avid bike rider or just the occasional novice this bike is perfect for you.

Glutenfree: Update: I like the bike a lot, but customer service is beyond horrific. I had a small plastic piece that I noticed was broken and would like to get a replacement since it came like that. It probably costs 3 dollars to replace. After 7 emails, I'm still not getting an answer. I'm starting to think their customer service is nothing more than a chatbot. I've reduced my rating from 5 to 3 and if it's not resolved by Friday, it will be further reduced to 1.

Update Number 2: Same runaround answer from their so called "customer service". It's apparently a chatbot. Review reduced to 1 star. The bike itself isn't bad, but if you need anything, or if something breaks or you need a replacement part, you're on your own. Maybe the worst customer service I've ever run into. It's non existent. Pitiful.

I ordered this bike on a Sunday and it shipped that night, receiving it on Wednesday the same week. Putting it together is not difficult although the manual is kind of worthless. It took about 2 hours, mainly just adjusting the location of all the controls, display, and headlight to where I was comfortable. The battery charged in about 3 hours to 100% so off I went on my first ride....
