Pragnesh DesaiPragnesh Desai: The media could not be loaded.  Bike is having a good battery range on a full charge which last me around 2 to 3 days worth of commute and gives me a range of around 14 to 15 miles. The brakes are sharp and very safe to use. The digital meter provided on the center console is very feature ridden and helps to show me dynamic data while riding including the all important speed, battery left and the mode being driven on. Apart from the electric mode, the pedal assist and normal bike modes are also secondary and tertiary options for me to use this bike.

The tires of this bike are thick and are able to hold ground strong and ensure good traction and grip on the road while driving. Charging is easy by simply plugging the charging point with the outlet provided in the center to charge it and the charger turns green color to convey bike having fully charged at that point of time.

Accelerator is easy to handle and is conveniently located near the right bar handle of the bike to use it on speeds of 1 or above. But I have had to get used to it initially as it is easy to move the accelerator while bike is in stop position and bike will instantly accelerate if on 1 or above...

The amazon shopper: I used the bike for full time delivery for a few months and here is the full breakdown. I brought this in may 2022 as summer approached, I used it everyday till late fall. First thought was it was smaller than regular bikes but seat and handle bar was adjustable. This bike wheels are small so it is a lot more bumpy than regular bikes or mountain bikes and there is no front suspension. Back suspension is not bad but can be bette. On the other hand of being small, it is very light, I can easily carry it up and down the stairs with one arm, no problem at all. Note, if you are heavier than 150, the bike might feeling really small to you and really slow. I am 5’9 and I feel like the bike is acceptable but taller people may struggle to pedal. Next up is the gears, this is a single gear bike and it means there is no gear changing feature. The chain starting falling off quite often a few months in, sometimes two to three times a day. If you know how to put the chain back, it takes like 10 secs, no big deal. Find a branch or break one off the tree and use it to hook it back on. The battery is the most important part of any electric bike or scooter, the seller claims it is a 7.5a battery....

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This is a review after 3 months of regular use and total logged distance of about 1200 km. I usually bike this to work about 16 km one way. The last 2 km to work is a steep climb up a hill with an average grade of 6% and maximum of 7.4%. The ride up is very easy though it still requires some pedaling while using the throttle. I would say i'm moderately fit and weight about 180 pounds.
One problem I have had with the bike is that one of the crank arms came loose after about one month of use. It had to be replaced since the bolt holding the crank arm in place kept coming loose after tightening. Gotrax immediately sent me a replacement after sending them pictures of the damaged crank arm. Another problem is the rear brake makes squeeling noise when applied. It can be reduced or even eliminated by adjusting the brake calipers but gets loud again over time. I think the brake pads may need to be replaced to stop the squeeling completely.
The battery capacity is good enough that I still have about 50% charge left after 16km ride to work. Even with one speed, it is easy to pedal on flat terrain so that I often turn the battery off.

toniann solomita: Got this for my son it arrived and the tube was not holding air we took it to get fixed we had to pay $50 and after he used it for 10 minutes the tube busted on the same tire! We had a very disappointed teen to say the least. We returned it and purchased another one from a different company

JJ: Bought this for my mom to help her get some much needed exercise during the pandemic. First with the flaws:

1) PEDAL ASSIST is almost non-existent. I've owned two other electric bikes with pedal assist that worked very well and on a scale of 1-10 in terms of pedal assist power, this is a 2/10. My mom could barely bike up a very small mild hill. The throttle works perfectly but that negates any kind of physical activity for my mom.

2) The brakes started squeaking on the second day!

3) Customer service was horrendous. I contacted them to initiate a return and they wrote "Our engineer said that when you accelerate, the effect of the pedal assist is difficult to detect. This is not because the pedal assist is not working. This is a normal situation." And they instantly cancelled my return request. They didn't ask if I was happy with the bike as it was (I'm not) so I had to contact Amazon customer service to handle this mess. I purposely bought an electric bike for my mom for a pedal assist that is NOT difficult to detect.

And now the pro's.

T-Bo-82: This is a good folding e-bike but it fits a specific niche use, which is basically short distance (under 15 miles for throttle-only) on smooth surfaces like well-maintained bike trails and sidewalks. Because of the small wheel size (16") you will feel bumps a lot more than a full size e-bike with 20" or larger wheels. Maybe if you are a teen or small adult this won't bother you as much but I am 6'2" and 260 and I could really feel the bigger bumps! When it's folded it can easily fit in the cargo area of a crossover or SUV but I think it would be a very tight fit in the trunk of a small sedan. The downsides are that the battery is removable but the manufacturer website doesn't even stock the battery, which is weird. With modern e-bikes, it should be easy to design a two-battery system where it automatically switches to the 2nd battery when the 1st battery is drained. Also, this bike doesn't come with a speedometer or odometer which is unacceptable for the price tag. Finally, the stock seat is not comfortable and I had to buy a larger cushion aftermarket seat too better accommodate my larger butt size.

smacksaw: Overall, I think the bike is a good value, but I would consider this v0.95b of the bike. It needs a few things to be really great. First and foremost, mine arrived with the rear fender broken. It's split and it looks possible to replace, but annoying. That should have never made it past quality control as it was obvious from the second I opened the box.

I had originally purchased the XPIRIT folding bike, but there was an order snafu and we substituted this one instead.

The state of assembly is better than before. Both the manual and other YouTube videos show it coming more disassembled. Now the pedals are installed and the handlebars are fully assembled. All that's required of the rider is to slide in the seat post and handlebar post and you're ready to go.

The battery is also broken. It's supposedly removable by a very flimsy plastic latch, but mine is broken on one side. I decided not to mess with it. It absolutely needs a metal latch or a rope you can pull. This is an issue because there's a braindead design feature: the plug for the battery is on the side. Well, if you fold the bike, guess what? The side with the charging port is covered by the other half...

Vido: This is my second foldable electric bike. The first one had fat tires, was very heavy, and bulky, and it was a hassle to put it into a car/ trunk. Scratched the bike and the car doing that. Now this one is surprisingly good: I don't really need fat tires, so these tires are much faster/ and lighter, the motor is more powerful, the bike is very compact yet feels perfectly fine when I am riding (I'm 6" and 190lb), I like the design - not just the looks, bet the ideas behind this bike: - it's a very convenient, fast and easy to use machine. I am really impressed. Also, this bike has no gears but the chain ratio is so good that it easy to pedal, and I like that. all in all- I am very happy with this purchase. Things are getting better and better every day. Impressive value!
