These were purchased to replace original desk leg hardware which had failed. These are twice the thickness with twice the bolt contact length. For my application, they are a direct replacement but much better quality than the original hardware. I'm extremely pleased with this product! In a 5 star rating system, I give them a 10.

Well made and the measurements are the same as the ones that needed replacement however the thread count on the screw part is too tight. Had to return. Maybe I should of gotten the ones that's says 5/16 instead to M 8.
