This has been an excellent help in keeping the room clean, catching all the scattered litter exactly as it said it would (I use pine pellet litter). I got the BIG one because I dislike scattered litter so much, wasn't going to take any chances of it missing haha. It is a small thing, but this really enhances and helps my daily cleaning up/sanity and keeping things much neater! I had a smaller mat from a different brand previously but this one is MUCH better in every way, including color (the dark cocoa brown is very nice, it actually looks good in the room and not like an ugly mat on the floor, very tasteful).
The photo included (featuring handsome Albert 💛) is the mat freshly unwrapped, it has smoothed itself out nicely in under 24 hours. Both of my cats do not mind the mat and there was no adjustment period for them to walk on it.

This is my second time purchasing this mat. I decided to get a new one because my cat went through being really sick, and I just thought it might be more sanitary. I've been looking into new litters, too, and I kept thinking, what are they talking about with the litter tracking all over? I don't have that problem with litter. Then I realized it's because of this mat. The litter tends to stay either right on it, or if I haven't vacuumed it in a while, then some around it, but it's not difficult to clean. I believe it prevents further spread around the house.

This catches all the litter except for when my cats are flinging litter across the room. It's simple to vacuum with a hand vacuum or small nozzle attachment, and it's easy to spray down with a hose outside.
I have some difficulty removing ALL the litter dust inside because it really gets into the woven parts. I consider that a win in its effectiveness though.
