Actually adhered SLATE that had come lose on my mailbox.
I used the Gorilla glue on large pieces of slate and used a bungie cord, and wrapped all around the mailbox stretching the cords as tight as I could. I let it stay for a day and a half.
I started doing this a couple of years ago using other products, this was the best of all.
I have been using the Gorilla on many projects. Try not to get on hands. I suggest using tight disposable gloves.

Barry Hobbs: This stuff is killer! We had a top door hinge tear out of the door frame, stripping the holes and cracking the wood. I brain stormed my options and remembered that I have recently bought this glue after reading good reviews about it, So, I slopped some on the area where the hinge attached to the door frame and stuck the hinge back on it. I let it set overnight, then attached the door again. Are you kidding me.......it held the door just fine! Now granted, this is a light mobile home door, but still, it seems to hold well. Oh, I can just hear the purists screaming! Well, I hear ya, but the fact is that this stuff has exceeded my wildest expectations!

YYC123YYC123: The glue sticks really well for mending most of the house using materials. It took surprisingly long for it to begin to dry, so you should be patience once using it. The small mouth is not designed well. It broken after two moths using.
