M. McLaughlin: Beautiful pictures depicting African American women. I bought this book and made photocopies. My students and other adults each chose a picture and brought her to life. Pictures were made into a collage for Black History month with theme of empowering women. We received many compliments.

AWIT ( A Woman in Transition)AWIT ( A Woman in Transition): This is my first experience seeing full eccentric illustrations distributing “ Beautiful “ Black women. I love the light and deep grayscale of the displays.
I appreciate Coco Wyo showing such excellent artistry. Not only with this coloring collection however, with their other collections as well.

FelaniniFelanini: One of the things I enjoyed most about this book were the different styles the women had. A few of the women had simple hair styles and clothes. With those pages I didn’t have to think as hard. I just picked my colors and got to work. Other pages the women have more complex clothing choices because of the patterns in the outfits and in the background. With those pages I had to put much more thought into the colors for all the details. I enjoyed this coloring book so much I purchased volume 2 . The only thing I believe would make this book better is a few more options for the hair coloring. Most of the hair is already colored in black. I would like more chances to choose or add in color. I’m hoping for a volume 3 or maybe something with some African American couples or just some African American men and children to color too 🤔😊

Caro: Très belle découverte que cet album de coloriage représentant des femmes noires et métissées.
Ce sera un véritable plaisir que de mettre ces illustrations en couleur.
Pages plutôt fines mais pas trop, je privilégie plutôt le crayon de couleur à mine grasse pour ce type de feuille.
À recommander vivement espérant peut-être un second album de coloriage, sur cette même thématique, de la part de cet éditeur.
