Gopune Women's Waterproof, Windproof Insulated Pants for Outdoor Hiking and Skiing in Snowy Weather

jldnhjldnh: I was looking for a pair of warm, wind/waterproof pants to pull on over leggings for walking the dog. Didn't want large bell bottoms. Didn't want bulky ski pants (already have those). These are definitely warm and wind/waterproof, but not really for wearing over leggings unless you order up a size. They would be fine over a pair of lightweight thermals though, for extra cold days. I got the deep grey which is more a slate blueish than dark grey. They fit like a cargo pant. I have decided to keep them since winter walks here in NH can be darn cold! I am 5'6", 140 lbs and got the medium. They fit perfectly.

Campin With the Confers: These are very warm and comfortable. Love them for winter camping and hiking. They do run a little big.

Susan: I ordered these for a trip to Alaska and enjoyed them so much I’ve ordered another pair in a different color for an upcoming trip to Iceland. They are comfortable, warm and true to size. I like that they aren’t too bulky in my luggage or while being worn.

A•Ha: I’ve tried to figure out what the size charts mean, but it’s been worse than just ordering my customary size- you know, the one I’d start with at the usual department stores like Macy’s, Nordstrom, REI, and even Target. Everything I’ve ordered that should fit according to the seller’s size charts has been huge. These pants were no exception. Tall people should rejoice, though, because these were at least 7” or 8” too long. Yes, I am short, and my shortness is because of my short femur (as a bike fitter told me), but there’s no way I could have made these work.

If these fit you, you’re fortunate because they seem really nice and toasty. Although they’re lightweight, I’d probably want to change out of them before I drive back down the mountain. Hopefully, we’ll get normal weather this winter, so it’s cold enough to wear these if we have lovely days of snow measured in feet, but that’s looking iffy with 80° October days when it should be 55° (Fahrenheit. *sigh*) These are warm enough that I waited until it cooled off before I could try them on.
