A-Town: I read a suggestion to use a two-compartment plate of some sort to help kids remember to grab two types of foods for snacks to keep a better balanced diet (protein and carb, for example) and these have been perfect for that. We use them when we go on homeschool field trips as well as on days we are at home. The riskiest things I’ve put in them are tuna and also hummus, and we had no leaking issues, but I am not sure I would try something more liquidy. The lids do seem pretty tight but not too crazy to get them back off. I bought two sets and they have held up well in the dishwasher so far. No complaints at all with these!

ShannaraRose: When I bought these, two of the lids were broken on arrival, which was a disappointment. I've had no problem with breakage during use, though -- they are sturdy and a good size for leftovers. They hold up well to the dishwasher, and are a great shape for easy storage.
