jt24: These pruners are sized a bit smaller for smaller hands and it makes a considerable difference if you have a big hand-pruning job to do. I'd been using regular pruners and my hand muscles were cramping after 20-25 minutes of intensive pruning. Using these, no more cramping at all. Also, blade is sharp. Not for large diameter limb pruning, though, so check the specifications to make sure the pruners are adequate for your needs.

Patricia T. Bliss: They are a very good knockoff of the excellent Felco shears. Everyone knows why the Chinese manufacturer can afford to sell them so low. In China they have no standards of pensions, worker's comp--everything that Felco employees get. I need two pairs, so I appease my conscience by ordering one pair of each, the genuine Felco shears and these.

1942 Ford: Not exactly for smaller hands, as the span of handles is as wide as normal sheers, however the spring action is not as tight as some others I've tried, so perhaps that makes it a bit easier for small hands. I was able to trim roses with ease, then I trimmed some azalea bushes and was able to cut through almost one inch diameter branches with little effort.. Very impressed!
