Vee: It has a soft shell so can be squished. Inside main compartment are 3 mesh compartments and one zip mesh compartment. In one outer compartment are 3 mesh compartments. These are much better then the elastic loops in my other bag - I found that the loops do not secure many containers, depending on container size. I'm using a separate pouch (placed in this bag) for makeup. This dopp kit is basic and big enough - perfect for me.

John Z.: This small bag exceeded my expectations by 200%. The pictures on Amazon do not do it justice. I have several medicines and inhalers that always accompany me. AmazonMom: I put all my non-liquid toiletries in this bag for frequent carry-on travel. I like that there are plenty of compartments of various sizes. Everything stays well-organized.
Here’s what mine holds:
-side zippered compartment with 3 mesh pockets inside: non-liquid makeup and brushes.
-main interior compartment with a large zippered mesh pocket along one side and 3 mesh pockets along the other side: hair brush, deodorant, stick lotion, stick sunscreen, medicine, razor, makeup remover pads, daily contacts, band-aids, a few random other little things
-side mesh pocket: hair ties & clips, a travel lint brush

Ky: Best toiletry bag I ever owned. The pockets are perfect, it's big and durable. You can really throw this around traveling and not be worried about it. The material is easy to wash when needed and the zippers are a good quality. Dries quickly when it gets wet. There is even a mesh pocket so you can dry your face wash or other wet things. I've had this for six months and still looks new. I use this bag everyday and I recommend it.
