Charise Hess: Tested this a couple times in preparation for a trip to the Scottish Highlands. Temperatures were 32° - 38° and there was condensation build up about 4 inches from the floor of the tent. Not much, but I was looking for none. What ever comes in contact with those areas gets wet. Maybe I'm just setting something up wrong. Poured rain and it was dry as a bone on the inside.

Charity Andrews: This purchase impressed us so much! We are beginning backpackers that don’t want to break the bank to get started. These tents were so easy to put up. One person can easily set them up. They were surprisingly roomy, had two doors, an open view with an optional rain cover….Absolutely perfect for us. Even used in windy conditions and had no problems. Can’t believe the value of these tents. Absolutely recommend!

Tartanmatt: I've used the tent now three times in three different sets of weather.

My first trip with it was solo on a very, very rainy weekend. Not one leak if you set it up correctly. I was quite surprised and impressed. I was a bit irritated that two of the attached lines for staking broke within minutes after putting it up, but I was able to work something out. Note that there is no porch/overhang at the door so you have to be careful getting in and out so no to let wate drip in. Plenty of room for one person and a full pack of gear.

Second "trip" was with my young son on the front lawn. Worked great for this. We spread out our sleep rolls and the large windows made a nice draft on a 95 degree day. Convenient that there's a door on both sides so you don't have to climb over one another to get in or out. Had a great time.

Third trip was a cub scout campout with the same son. Worked great for sleep gear and a few other odds-and-ends but we had to keep our packs and other gear outside the tent. So if you are backpacking with this be prepared with a tarp to protect extra gear outside.

Overall, a decent tent for the money. I plan to get at least...

Nickels_and_Dimes: I bought this for a backpacking trip. It worked well. The rain fly, tent body, poles, and stakes all weigh in at 4 lbs 12 ozs. Could be lighter, but it did the trick for me. The dual wall, tent net body, and rain fly kept all the condensation off of me. In the morning, when the sun hit the tent, it got hot inside and woke me up.

Setup is simple and takes about 5 mins.
Tear down, is just about as fast, 5-7 mins.

I used a footprint underneath, due to the rocks and roots. But on a flat soft surface, you should not need one.

Oahu Customer: Got this for my son's boy scouts since his last backpacking tent flooding in the rain. His first camping trip with this rained hard both nights and it did not leak (rain fly was installed). It was a bit hot inside the tent due to the humidity and heat outside the tent. With the rain fly on it is thick and only have small vents at the top to allow airflow. (we live in Hawaii). The tent was easy for him to set up without help and great size. It is big enough for him and all of his gear to me inside the tent with room to spare. It is light and small when in the bag. Great for backpack tent if you need a good rain proof tent. In Hawaii it rains all the time without notice. I would recommend. Good quality zippers/materials.
