Janie Thompson: I enjoyed it...hard to put down. I read it in about two days. I never knew much about Glenn Camppbell, of course this is from his last wifes point of view so there are others i want to read.

alixandra ditri: I loved this book, some very sad parts for obvious reasons, but lots of funny parts, Glen Campbell was a legend! How lucky he was to have Kimberly Campbell for a wife! She is a wonderful human being!

Terri W.: This book is a must read for anyone who loved the music and genius of Glen Campbell! The courage, love, and compassion of his family, friends, and caretakers during Glen’s journey through Alzheimers, is truly a testament to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This book is also a must read for anyone going through dementia and/or Alzheimers with a loved one. The frank honesty of Kim demonstrates her genuine desire to help others who are currently, or will one day, be going through a similar journey. I don’t know you personally, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Kindle CustomerJoanie B.: Anyone who has lost someone close to them from Alzheimer's knows the heartache is unbearable. Like many I was a fan of Glen Campbell and cried for his families loss.

Dianne :-): The book is well written. Kim tells how she and Glen met and about their love and marriage, as well as about Glen's addictions. There are some things that some Christians won't "approve". Kim doesn't justify; she just gives facts and sometimes the reasons why. Glen was more than 20 years her senior so his life direction was already set before they met. If you've ever wondered how Glen Campbell managed to touch the hearts and souls of multi-generational audiences over a period of 5 decades and more, you will want to read this book. It is not sappy.
Romans 5 says: 3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
This is what the book is about, what Glen Campbell's life was about: trials in his life produced endurance which led to strength of character which strengthened his hope of salvation. This all helped Glen and Kim to see just how much God loves...

Mark Ford: Glen Campbell was a wonderful talent as a singer and song writer. He was struck down with Alzhemer's and his life was turned upside down with the effects of the disease. Throughout this period his wife Kimberly Woollen stood by her husband throughout the good times and the bad as his health went downhill. This is a fabulous story of a marriage never to be broken by a horrible disease. An everlasting love and a show of courage led with their faith in Christ Glen and Kimberly stayed together until Glen was finally at peace. Please read it.

E. B. Kogan: When I first heard that Kim Campbell wrote a book about her life with Glen Campbell I thought, really? So much was already known about his life and much of it was told in his book Rhinestone Cowboy from 1994. I knew his story regarding the Alzheimer's diagnosis and wondered why she wanted to put herself through the retelling of such a horrific nightmare. I was wrong...this book is important on many levels. First and foremost, it is a true story of love, courage, bravery, sacrifice and the human spirit. I know, because I have lived this story and what Kim writes is almost a carbon copy of my own experience with my beloved partner of 20 years...ending in the long dark road of Alzheimer's Dementia as well as Frontotemporal Dementia. The experiences, the behaviors, the emotional suffering...all of it. The only difference between Kim's story and mine is the fame and fortune. Glen Campbell was my first celebrity crush when I was a very young teen. I loved his music and his style. I loved everything about him and I still do. After my loved one passed in 2018, it was Glen's music that helped me get through the loss and never realized that while I was listening and remembering better...
