Kathryn Bormann: I purchased a large playpen for my tiny chihuahua and we use it as her bedroom. She can feel safe in any location: home, hotel, the park. We can zip her in so she can't escape and roam the house, we can also just leave the door open and have her bed, water etc. in there. We don't need to use the ceiling for her because she cannot jump that far, but it was an initial concern and is a nice feature of the playpen. We liked it so much that we purchased a smaller playpen for my wife's office - so now our chihuahua has the "same" bedroom in multiple locations. The waterproof floor was really helpful when potty training and you can easily remove it or leave it off entirely. The pen is sturdy enough for her and is 4/5 for folding up and transporting.

HOWARD: We recently got a kitten, our last cat died a few years ago. All our cats were adult or half grown and past the kitten stage . Our new kitten a Persian/Maine Coon mix is about 7 weeks old. He has what I have heard called the zoomies (zooming from one place to the next) , when he is awake he is on the run and never stops moving. This pet playpen is perfect for when I am not there to see he does not get in trouble. It has plenty of room for a small litterbox , food , water , bed , and toys .

MJN: I have a blind, senior,16 pound dog and when we travel or go to visit family we bring this pen with us. when he wants to relax he finds his way in here. He absolutely loves it. He feels secure but there is enough room to sometime share with his brothers. I layer the bottom with a nice plush blanket. This is a durable, game changing product that is worth the buy!

Misfit Malice: De construction robuste, se plie et se transporte aisément, la couleur est un peu plus “discrète” qu'à mon écran (les contours sont plus rouges pas trop vif qu'orangés et le “gris-brun” annoncé est plus près d'un brun sobre et se fond parfaitement dans le décor.

L'idée des deux entrées est bien pensée (le chiot aime bien la traverser), les “moustiquaires” assez opaques devraient relativement bien protéger du soleil cet été (nous avons l'intention de nous en servir cet été comme “cabane de repos” au cas ou Spooky aurait trop chaud sous les rayons du soleil).

Mon chiot de 4 mois adore et devrait avoir encore beaucoup d'espace lorsqu'il sera à pleine maturité et devrait peser près de 30 kilos.

Prévoyez une grande pièce (ou une petite assez “épurée), vu que l'enclos est quand même plutôt grand (je mesure 1m 75 et je pourrais m'en servir pour dormir couché les jambes repliées).

Nous n'avons pas utilisé la toile de fond vu que nous y avons installé son tapis et son coussin, mais je crois qu'elle serait peut-être relativement facile à déchirer, sans protection, si vous avez un chien “gratteur”. J'ai fait un...

EveEve: We take this camping for somewhere for the cat to chill out without a lead on while we are setting up our tent. We have also used it in hotel rooms when travelling, makes cat feel safe and the waterproof base gives me piece of mind if she decides to make a mess with food or water bowl!
Great size- 10lb cat has lots of room inside for blankets, toys, litter box. Actually, I can even fit inside! Folds flat for ease of storage and transportation. Great purchase!

Cristy Hill: We bought this pen for our two little puppies. We got them when they were 7 weeks old. I use it to contain them when I go to work. The puppies are tiny, and I put their food dishes, water, bed, and a few toys inside. It has worked so well, but I have worried about what would happen as they got older. They are full of energy, and I wondered if they would be able to claw or bite their way out, or jump out. Well, 3 months have passed, and they have grown bigger, but the pen looks brand new!! They have chewed and ruined some other items in my home, but not a scratch on this pen!!! I don’t write reviews often, but I am super impressed with this product so far!!!

Lou Bega: We ordered this pet bed for our standard American Eskimo Dog (approx. 30 lbs, med-sized dog). She was sleeping in a traditional metal crate each night (approx. 32" L x 24" D x 18" H) and we noticed that each morning when we let her out that she would be stiff. We chose this fabric crate to fit in the exact same corner as her previous metal crate. We figured that yhe fabric would be nice because she can lean against it, unlike the metal.

It's an amazing size. Much roomier, because with the hexagonal shape rather than rectangular, she can configure herself anyway she likes in there. She can stretch out. There is also the same amount of venting as there would be for a metal crate, thanks to all the mesh windows and the 2 mesh doors. It's basically like a little tent for your dog, and it sets up in seconds!! It also has convenient pouches and water bottle holders on the outside, too. The zippers are extremely high quality.

This is our dog's nightly crate, but we'll also be sure to take it camping with us. I love that it comes in a matching carrying case to make trips with it a breeze.

THE ONLY DRAWBACK is that the floor of the crate by itself is supremely thin. I...

Lemonbird: I will be doing some traveling and camping and wanted an easy and lightweight containment for my Chihuahua. I opened the box as soon as it arrived I was so anxious to check it out. There are so many things to love about this dog playpen...the bag that it comes in, so easy to open and close instantly, that it comes with a top cover and bottom floor, the colors are perfect and so is the size, etc., etc. I set it up in my living room right away to get my dog use to it before I really need to use it. I put his folding bed inside and there was still plenty of room for him to move around. I left the door open so he could go in and out freely and will leave it like this for a few days. My dog wasn't thrilled with it and wouldn't even stay inside for 5 seconds even after trying a couple of times. The funny thing, however, is that my 50 lb. hound loved it and slept inside for the entire afternoon. This playpen was out of a stock for a while but so glad I was finally able to get one because it is going to be the perfect solution when I start traveling whether I am at a campground or at a hotel. If you need a playpen for your small dog(s), just get this one, you won't be sorry.

Gabrielle: My mother's 16 year old cat, Simba, recently came to live with us and our two quite lively dogs. A slow, gradual introduction was indicated. The playpen was the perfect way of allowing the dogs and Simba to meet each other while still ensuring that the cat was safe and the dogs were out of reach of any possible "swats" that Simba might deliver. The playpen's size allowed Simba to easily move around and also accommodated a small litter box and a bed for him. We placed the playpen in our living room and gradually increased the amount of time that Simba spent with us and the two dogs (at other times, Simba was in a closed bedroom). The process of gradually allowing the animals to spend more and more time together has proven very successful and they have gotten increasingly comfortable with each other. We are hopeful that, eventually, we will be able to let Simba out of the playpen to spend time with the dogs (with close supervision). The playpen will also be useful to let Simba spend time outside in the yard. We are really happy with this product and would highly recommend it for puppies, small dogs, and cats. Day OwlDay Owl: I purchased 2 of these play pens for my 3 Pomeranian puppies. We decided to get the largest size possible for them to have plenty room to play in. Both came in great condition with no damage seen and so far these play pens have been wonderful to use! I was worried that the pups would have these chewed up to pieces in no time, but it has held up even with their constant chewing. They are chewers, so beware if you have bigger pups and if they are big chewers! I do make sure to have some Gorilla tape on hand just in case the babies decide to chew a giant hole in it or something. They have managed to gnaw at the zippers towards the floor with mild damage, however, I keep washable potty pads over the floor zippers to keep the babies from getting to them that easily. It definitely helps to keep the floor part covered and also easier to clean up accidents since we're in the beginning of potty training. My pups love to play in this play pen and spend lots of time in it. They do sleep in a wired crate at night because if they slept in the play pen all night, it would've been chewed to shreds by now, lol.
