C. Martin: Have used these dishes almost two years now. Very good quality and have been in the microwave, dishwasher and oven. Love the look and feel. These dishes are large though, including the plates. The dinner dishes do not fit in my top cabinet as the door will not close and need to be kept in a deeper, lower cabinet where pots/pans normally reside. Be sure to measure before you buy and check the clearance in the dishwasher as well as I'm sure they vary.

Eddies Mum: First off, this set was sent from USA to UK but arrived well ahead of schedule which was impressive, the delivery person lobbed the box around because they thought it was a lawn mower, so I was upset and expecting to find the whole set smashed, but nope the packaging was so well done not a single piece was even chipped, despite being thrown around! The set is absolutely lovely, not heavy, not so light that they're delicate, and the glaze looks great. The bowls and mugs are actually a bit bigger than they seem in the listing's pictures which is great as the bowls are large enough for pasta dishes and the mugs aren't small cups like with so many other crockery sets so you can enjoy a nice sized coffee! In all we're so happy this could be sent to the UK as it's exactly what we wanted to smarten up our dinnerware!

John: First the bad. I ordered two sets. The first set was perfect. The second set had no matching plates side plates; there were 4-5 different colours unlike the photos. Also, the bottom of most plates have stickers that are removable and discreet writing. These are embedded into the plates and bowls, and are white against the dark brown background, very ugly. The good news is that you almost never see the bottoms.

The good? Everything else. Amazon sent a replacement set that was flawless. The dinnerware is beautiful, with the bowls being particularly gorgeous. I don't understand the few complaints about the paint not being consistent. The aim is to have a hand painted effect, and the manufacturer certainly accomplishes that very easily. It is true what some said, the bowls are massive.

Overall, they look amazing, are durable, and great value.
