Claire: This dinnerware set arrived with nothing broken or cracked. I love the design and the dishes have a nice glaze to them. I've only just received them so not too sure how durable they are, but so far, so good. There was a small flaw on one of the dinner plates, but very small and it isn't a problem. The dishes are quite heavy, so if you want something lighter, these aren't for you. The large soup bowls are really nice for salads, chili, noodle dishes, etc. I'm very pleased with them.
