Chrissy Z: My daughter is on a competitive gymnastics team so I purchased these for her birthday before the season began. She used them twice to practice at a local gym bar. The first use they started wearing terribly even with plenty of chalk. The writing on the grip was gone by first use. By the second use they looked as if they might rip and became extremely dirty. I thought they would be good beginner grips but they have shown to be not durable enough for an 8 year old.

Mike S: These have worked out excellent for my 9-year-old. She's still new in gymnastics and started getting blisters from the bar. These grips have really helped, along with some chalk. Got into a bit of a dispute with another parent about how to properly wear these palm grips. These are NOT dowel grips, so these grips are only intended to cover/protect the palms. If you buy them a little large (like I did, size M for 3" palm length), you can fold the leather at the base of the fingers to act as a false dowel and get some finger protection and extra grip.

K. Loiselle: Got the medium size for my 10 year old. They are a little big but she’s small for her age. They fit fine but found out that the left and right grip thickness are not the same. So we have to get another pair.

K from Canada: These don’t grip well and still create a pinch on my daughter’s hand when she grips as tight as she can to hang on. Overall I would not recommend. I gave two stars because it does look like the photo except it doesn’t work.

No Body: Looks like a quality product but the padding for the wrist is small and material is not comfortable. Sized small also so had to return.
