lucia: LO compré para mi marido que tiene una batería electrónica y una banqueta inestable, esta Banqueta es fabulosa (dicho por él) estable , cómoda , y genial para adultos , con mas o menos peso ya que es robusta

Jael48: I've been using this drum throne for several months. It is very sturdy and allows me to adjust to the best height for my drumming comfort. The seat can spin with you or you can lock it in place. I've moved it around to several different positions, and lock in place when I'm ready. I highly recommend.

Steve B: I had an old cheap stool I used for playing guitar really, the type with the pins that slot through the bar for hight adjustment. Well the bar snapped on a hole when I started drumming, and no I am not a heavy guy.
So yeah I’m new to drumming, and I was then looking for a new stool?
Man what a mine field, which one to buy, what do I need, I’m not a professional etc.
Okay cheap holed bars are out, the write-ups suggest they snap often.
Drum ‘throwns’ seem to go from £30 to £300...
I plumped for this one as many folk recommended Gibraltar for build quality.
It’s way better than the old one, yes comfy my butt is starting to make it’s own impression, I like it.
It was odd at first having a shaped stool rather than round but you quickly get used to it.
I marked it down on sturdiness NOT because it’s wobbly as it’s not, it is stable.
There is one bug bare that I can put up with for the price. The seat can move ‘swivel’ as you turn, this as you are pushing against the profiled part between your legs as you swivel. I have tightened the wing nuts as far as I can without stripping the threads using a spanner to get more purchase, and it still...

Emily S.: When we purchased this throne, it was with the intention of possibly upgrading it at some point. The reasoning behind this was that cheaper drum thrones (i.e. anything below $300) would eventually break when used by someone who went over the 150/200 pound weight limit on all of the single-post non hydraulic drum thrones. After doing a slight bit of research, Gibraltar seemed to fit the bill for a rock solid investment (some pun intended).

Construction:
It is a single post holding a wide seat, but features many points to anchor the various pieces together. The seat is a bit difficult to raise or lower without a key, but this could be seen as a plus by those of a larger frame. Those who use this in our household are big and/or tall and appreciate that it isn't too difficult to change heights, and stays solidly once adjusted. The faux leather and padding seem very well made for something of this level, and the metal (probably aluminum) is light but strong.

Comfort:
Needing a wider seat and strong foundation, this throne certainly does a fair job. However, new and more expensive thrones will have low lumbar support and built in ergonomics for leg spacing and...

L. Allen: I have been using a Sunlite drum throne that I bought back in the 1980s to play acoustic guitar gigs for the past ten years, and it's finally time to retire it, as hardware is starting to come loose, though it will still hold me. I recently bought a Stage Rocker throne, and for its low price, worked fine for a couple of gigs, but was simply uncomfortable after an hour sitting on it. Not sure if it's the padding, but I knew I needed something else. During a break, I looked up drum thrones on Amazon and found the Gibraltar 6608. Well, I'm here to tell ya that this throne provides plenty of padded comfort, and though this is the first "bike seat" style I have ever used, I am lovin' it! The tripod is rock solid and stable, raises high enough to where I like it (maximum of 24"), and the bike seat is truly an improvement, comfort-wise. Similar thrones made by higher-end manufacturers can cost six times what I paid for this seat, and I could not justify the cost-for-quality reasoning on the basis of this throne's quality and price. I am now one most happy - seated - camper!
