Jim C.: I wanted something that could get into obscure places - like under the sink and under the hood - and this 8 inch affordable wrench not only has a rotating handle, but a ratcheting feature as well. I tried it right out of the box and was pleasantly surprised how easily it worked. It is now going to be my go-to wrench for tight spaces.
The wrench jaws are 9 to 13 mm thick and the outside assembly appears to be strong. I can not see the spring inside the ratchet nor the inside locking mechanism, so hopefully these parts are made of strong rust-proof materials.
The description says the wrench is made from chrome vanadium steel. There are several different alloy formulations it would be nice if the manufacturer would identify which alloy they use.

Austin F.: I don't regret the purchase but it's probably one of the lowest quality tools I own. The adjustable handle is total junk and gets jammed up constantly, usually won't lock when you want it to and stays completely unlocked when you do. The ratcheting mechanism works a lot better than other ratcheting crescent designs i've used but only expect it to work half the time and only on large nuts.
