ChrisChris: I have metal frame construction behind the walls so just attaching to one anchor spot was important to me. Plus it takes up a smaller “ footprint” on this wall which was needed.

Amazon Customer: Don’t rule this out if you don’t need a towel bar. It’s very sturdy and made the perfect place to store hangers and hang delicates in my laundry closet! It’s well built and stays on the wall even when I hang several damp items up to dry on it!

Ron C: One star less since the length was a bit shorter than I expected. Chose this and it looks sturdy enough to hold large bath towels. There were longer ones but couldn't justify the price.
