Gordon g.: I like this unit but cover needs to be hinged to the bbq . That is the part I dislike . Was going to buy another one until I found out about this . Not happy 😒

Amazon Customer: Bought this for use on our apt patio. Box was damaged, it looked like a forklift tine had punctured the box. The grill lid had a big dent in it. We debated on returning but for the price and it didn't make it unusable so hubby got the dent mostly out with a small rubber mallet. Assembly was easy. When we tried to connect the cord we discovered one of the prongs in the grill was badly bent which looked like a manufacturing defect. Since we had committed to keeping it we used pliers and it straightened without breaking. With the bumpy start it's a great little grill and gets nice and hot. Easy to clean and stores inside our back hall without using to much room. Our lid just has a touch of character. LOL

A. Kelly: I've had this grill for 4 months now. I like it. It's quite large- capable of cooking two full racks of ribs without crowding. It compares favorably in cooking time with a charcoal grill. I normally preheat for 10-12 minutes before adding my meat. There really isn't a lot to say about it as far as cooking is concerned. I'm very satisfied with it, and it's very easy to clean up. I rub the cooking surface with a couple of paper towels after I turn it on high for around three minutes.
As for the drawbacks to having it. The base is rather lightweight making the unit somewhat topheavy. The pedestal design looks good, but I think a more conventional grill base would be much sturdier. My model (GFO240S) doesn't have the temperature gauge or the lid holder. I don't miss the temperature gauge, but the lid holder would have been nice. I will probably make something myself since I normally barbecue out in the carport or backyard which has no table or grill service stand. In summary, it's not perfect but I would recommend it.

Patricia L. Heflin: I didn't have high expectations for this grill, but it has been proven beyond my highest expectations. I had a Weber charcoal grill that my deceased DH used regularly. It was too much futz for me.
This grill is simple to assemble, lightweight, good quality, easily cleaned, and delivers nicely browned meats, fish, and veggies.
Some argue it wouldn't take the place of a charcoal grill, but I put a dab of liquid smoke in the bag when marinating meats and use lots of herbs and everything is yummy. Rainy days, I lift it off the grill base and set it on top of my oven to grill.
Warning: don't go by manual of cooking times that comes with it as temp times are way too much. A reviewer posted, his wife cooks everything at "4". That's what I do, and things cook very quickly. Another reviewer posted not to buy the cheap cover and buy the Gorilla 42 gallon trash bags. This bag is the perfect size, heavy duty and I think looks better than the cover made to go on the grill. I ordered the grooved sponge to clean the grill. It's not necessary but makes "easy" even easier to clean.
My only disappointment: you cannot cook whole Cornish hens, beer can chicken or roasts as the...

Peter A. Knudson: At age 50, after ten years the nightmare of my life dumped me and ran off with a guy with family money from the east coast. I went from the house in the suburbs with a monstrous stainless steel grill, with side burners, electric lights, rotisserie, and even an oven; to a one bedroom apartment that doesn't allow gas or charcoal grills. I love to grill! After searching for solutions I found the George Foreman indoor/outdoor grill. My first one lasted four years and was still working, but I was moving 2600 miles and decided to "retire" it. I immediately bought my second one upon reaching my new destination. I have also, given one as a gift to a friend who was also living in a building that does not permit gas or charcoal. Five years later and multiple moves to various apartments, I am now happily in a house once again. Even though I have the space for whatever grill I want for the past year, I continued to go to "George" for my grilling needs. But, my second faithful George Foreman, finally gave up the ghost after five years of use on a weekly basis. For the past nine years I have used these grills at a minimum of once a week. For the person living in an apartment or condo where gas...

Philip K. Stoddard: I'd read that electric grills don't generate enough heat. Nonsense. I cook burgers and steaks on the 4 setting because the maximum of 5 is too hot. Fish grill beautifully at 3. It's the easiest-cleaning grill I've used. If you rub the bars with a cut potato before cooking, it cleans up even easier. I should have bought this grill years ago.
