SANDAMAL SILVA: Yeah, even if you have the bottom end, low power Tacoma stereo...these will make it sound like you upgraded to premium sound. Seriously, they're that good. Wanna talk about timbre and detail...yeah, that's the kind of stuff I'm talking about. I have less than stellar hearing ability and these were easy-to-notice upgrade for sure. WARNING: Don't install these if you have less than 25 minutes to spare because that's how long it took me to put these in. Does it get better than that!

Alan D: These tweeters are MUCH better than the OEM tweeters and they fit perfectly with very little effort. Even though these are sold as Subaru tweeter, the speakers and plug are perfectly compatible with Gen 3 Toyota Tacomas.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The media could not be loaded.  Threw these in my '21 Taco TRD Sport Manual. Definitely made a big improvement to the sound.

Sounds that would normally be shrill in the high end and hurt my ears on the stock tweeters now just don't. It will still get to a point where it feels like it MIGHT hurt your ears, but it never passes the threshold. Plus everything is just a lot clearer.

Now to address why I removed a star.

The stock head unit with the stock tweeters often distorted at high volumes. This issue is not fixed by these tweeters. The distortion still comes through, so you generally don't want to pass 50 volume with these. The distortion is honestly more noticable on these than the stock speakers.

For the price point they can't be beat for an easy solution. This will make your truck sound like it has an alright factory sound system instead of a crap factory sound system. Completely plug and play. It isn't life changing, but it is definitely welcomed.

Banditface: I've had them in my 4Runner for several years now. Bought some more to replace the tweeters in our 2023 Outback. Easy job, and a little bit easier because I've done this in several vehicles now. After a long day and four beers it took me all of 21 minutes to swap them out. Sound amazing. Wish all Subaru Outbacks came with these!

Note: they don't quite line up with the factory holes correctly. The driver side was a little good, but the passenger side I tightened one screw all the way into the factory hole and then wedged the other side between the plastic of the car and the hole in the Tweeter casing. If it starts vibrating I'll deal with the issue, but for now it's wedged in there just fine and since it's a high frequency it shouldn't vibrate too much. Good luck!

Client d'Amazon: The Twitter itself is ok. Nothing to complaint about. But if you think it’s plug and play you are wrong. The holes on the Twitter casing don’t align at all with the ones on the dashboard. I had to drill one myself and they are 1 millimeter flush from the end. It’s flimsy but it works. Could be better.

ClaytonClayton: Very easy install and very good sound improvement to non-JBL sound system. These are not compatible for JBL fitted systems.

Tools required:
-10mm socket and 10mm wrench (the bolt closest to the windshield is too close to the glass to allow a socket so a small crescent wrench is required)
-Car pry tools (plastic to avoid scratching) to pry up the column and speaker covers

0. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Possibly not required but since you are working with wiring and also around the airbags it is probably a good idea.
1. Remove the bolts on the A-Columns. Left side, is under the airbag label. Right side bolts are part of the handle
2. Pull off the covers on the a-columns. Is quite easy, just be firm but gentle and work them out
3. Pry up the plastic covers over the speaker. light and gentle and work around and they will pop off
4. Remove the bolts that hold the speakers down (note what I mentioned about the need for a wrench vs the socket for the bolts closest to the windshield)
5. Pull up the speaker and disconnect the plastic connector (small tab on one side of the connector)
6. Take the new speakers and connect the wiring...
