Bill Miner: My puppy chewed the original cord. She survived by having pulled the cord out of the wall socket BEFORE chewing all the way through. The original equipment replacement cord is sturdy and designed just for this air conditioner. Good as new and we are working on teaching the puppy what she can and cannot chew.
