chris: I don’t think I’ve bought something previously opened but it was a good price same or cheaper than knock off version my cordless dyson stoped working I looked at everything near the battery connectors didn’t use vacuum for a long time so I was about to throw out the vacuum googled how to fix it they said check everything even the cord I actually had breaks in the cord so I bought the charger and it brought my cordless dyson back to life I was super happy very nice charger with green light so you know it working

Y. V. Chan: When I tried to buy this product at my local Dyson reseller, they said it was out of stock and they won't be restocking it. It was quite frustrating to hear that because the vacuum itself still works. It was just this charger so I was happy to have found this here. I was a little worried but it matched my model and it worked well. So far, so good. No problems.

Doug Botting: Not really when plug battery into charger had to wiggle connection to get it to charge thought it was our charger ordered new charger did the same thing has to be a fault with new battery.

A.J. Shupack: Just what I needed to get my Dyson DC44 to work again. At first I thought my battery was dead and then I realized that the charger was malfunctioning. This solved the problem. Only reason for giving it 5 stars is it did not look like it was new. I believe it was previously used. The packaging was opened and just did not look brand new to me

QA Tester: The problem with the imitation chargers, is that they don't stop charging the battery. They end up having a trickle effect on the battery. In some cases, this is not such a bad thing, but from my first hand experience, it ruins both the Dyson AND aftermarket batteries. The naysayers will say, "but I just bought a 3rd party charger, and it works fine, maybe even better than the Dyson branded charger" and I'd say, you're right, but after a few months you'll notice that your charges won't last as long, and you might even kill a battery (or two).

I buy 3rd party as often as I can as usually the value is much better than OEM, but in this case, stick with the OEM Dyson charger. For the batteries, go ahead and buy 3rd party of OEM.
