Rachael: My poor senior cat has always had a lot of build up in his ears. At his last vet visit, they diagnosed him with a double ear infection and recommended that we regularly clean out his ears. I mean, ew, but I love my cat and am willing to do just about anything to keep him feeling good in his older years. After the ear drops from the vet visit finished, I researched a bit and found these ear wipes. We use them about 1x per week, and they really do help keep his ears cleaner! The build-up comes out with one wipe per ear usually, the scent is pleasant and clean and not over-powering, and, while he doesn't love us poking around in his ears, he allows it :) Great product that we will continue using.

Rachel Pomeranz: I definitely expected a milder scent from these. They sort of remind me of the smell of baby wipes. I had a feeling that my cat wouldn't like the smell, so I waited until she was sleeping and wrapped her up in a burrito. She was fast asleep and as soon as I opened up the container of wipes, she woke up and and squinted at me like I was squeezing a lemon in her face or something. When I tried to put the thing in her ear she immediately bolted! The next few days I kept on trying the same thing, but she wasn't having it. Finally, I tried waiting until she was asleep again and I twisted around a cotton ball in her ear that was moistened with plain warm water. I think that got her used to having something in her ear—in fact, she was purring! So I tried the wipes again after doing that and while she stopped purring, she was much more cooperative. I am so relieved that we're able to use them now...but I have to say, these don't have the pleasant coconut smell that I was expecting. Still, I can only imagine how much worse this all would have been if I had to squeeze liquid into my cat's ears, so I'm thankful for this alternative!

PBea&J: I've been purchasing from Amazon for years, but have never left a product review. Until now, that is. That's how impressed I've been with the Petpost Dog Ear Cleaner Wipes. One of my Jack Russell terriers has ears that have continually been plagued by dark, yucky crud. He also suffers from allergies and so is highly sensitive to many things. Trying to clean his ears always used to be a torture for both him and me, and I could never really finish the job well.

I was first drawn to the Petpost Dog Ear Cleaner Wipes because one of the main ingredients is coconut oil. Coconut oil is a natural antifungal agent and is gentle to the skin. I knew that the aloe in the product would also be soothing to my dog’s ears. I was concerned about how well the wipes themselves would work, but decided to give them a try based upon the high customer ratings from others who clearly have dealt with this same problem.

After using these on my dog’s ears for several weeks now, I must say that these little wipes are amazing! The jar contains plenty of cleaning solution, and each pad is fully saturated with it. The pads are very thin, but that’s a good thing, because it allows you to...
