IAmAnAmazonBuyer: I've had the square version of this (#17) for about 10 years, using it off and on as a woodworking hobbyist. Having been very pleased with it, I decided to buy a backup just in case. Bought this rounded one (#18), and am pleased. Appears to be the same good quality as my other one, and I figure I'm good for another many years.
One critique ... The finish on my old one is not as glossy as this one, and I don't think it's from use. But the difference can be felt in setting the gauge, where the slightly rougher finish helps the gauge keep setting without potentially slipping.

Mark: This is a nice quality tool. Hash marks and numbers are engraved and filled with black ink. There is a knurled knobs that has good feel to adjust the tightening of the arm.

jon feilen: wonderful experience as it were. the product arrived in a timely manner. it was packaged in a nice looking undamaged box. i proceeded to open it with a non metallic scraper so as it not damage the product inside. to my surprise when i opened said item it was undamaged and in the most perfect shape. i think i will place the item under my pillow nightly just to keep it safe and undamaged. thank you for producing, packaging, shipping such a wonderful product. you are indeed the best. keep up the good work. that is all.........................
