Alec: I just used this for the first time in a project and I don’t know how I cut angles without it. It makes measuring precise angles so easy! No need to trust your saw - which can be a little off. Just cut a piece of scrap and measure with this tool to a tenth of a degree. Adjust/recheck as needed and you get a perfect angle cut.

Retired LEO: I got this for the shop, so it won't be bouncing around on any job sites. The display is easy to read, and it's easy to use, but accuracy is "slightly" below perfection because it tends to "drift" a little when you go to tighten the nut. I can accept that because I haven't found a perfect 90 degree corner in this older house.

Kris K.: The the stainless-steel arms of this angle tool are definitely made to last a very long time. The digital read-out is easy to see and its housing seems to be a high-impact type of plastic, so that will also last a good long time. There is an "On" button that also sets the "zero" angle to be whatever you want, so it works for additive angles. There is also a "Rev" or reverse angle button if you need to measure an inside angle.

I do wish it had an "Off" button, though, so I could turn it off the instant I'm done, which would save battery life. I also would have preferred arms that were not so wide. I also wish there was some sort of "soft stop" at 90 degrees.

I got this so I could measure the angles I cut on 1:120 scale projects, to make sure that what I actually cut is at the correct angle. This works decently for that, although the wide arms make it cumbersome. But it "is" accurate, and I've been able to adapt so far.

Don: Although this has no "Off" switch, you can simply push the battery shuttle out slightly when not in use, and it will turn off, and the shuttle will stay put, then it will restart when you push it back in. It WILL shut itself off at 3 minutes of non use, and will stay off until you turn it back on. (Rotating the rulers won't restart it.) It doesn't remember the angle reading when it shuts down, so if it shut off, you'll have to close it, zero it, and reset your angle, but 3 minutes is usually enough time to do your measuring.
The "Rev" button reverses the reading to the other side of the scale. If it's on 0, Rev will switch it to 180, 10 to 170, etc.
All in all, it is well made, very accurate, and well worth what I paid for it.

Leith: Purchased this Angle Finder just after Black Friday and it was delivered promptly. The product appears sturdy and "as" advertised. Haven't done much with it so far, but it appear fairly well constructed and works well given the limited usage. I will post an update in a couple of weeks. The one thing I did not like, and this is not related to the product, but this came in a massive box, full of "protective" plastic packaging - all of which will now find it's way into the garbage (the box will be recycled). They can save some money and the planet by being more thoughtful about the packaging...

S. Stevens: I use this for calibrating my table saw and electric mitre saw blades. Very good for my use, the only reason I marked it down a star is when you turn it on, it zeros at whatever angle it is on. So you have to make sure the two parts are absolutely parallel when you power it on for it to be correctly zero'd. You can do this by simply putting it between your fingers, but its still possible to skey them slightly and therefore not have a true zero.

It is also totally possible to hit the rest button while in use, meaning you have to zero it once again. Luckily this hasn't happened to me yet, but I fear its only a matter of time.

Otherwise this is a great product. Right size, accurate enough for my use and easy to use.
