Burton F Neumeier: If on high the flame is visible, but lower the flame and it is not very visible. Would also be nice if it could produce colored flames.

Jim Weaks: The media could not be loaded. These logs on our fire bowl makes the flame travel around their shape condensing the gas and flame into several areas that cause the flame to climb higher and hotter. With the gas on high the flame is impressive but we often run our bowl at a very low flame while we sit by it for hours. We enjoy these logs but found that a box of ten is more than we needed. We have a smaller bowl in our camper that works best for looks and storage with only three logs. At home on our deck we have a larger bowl that we prefer 5 logs. A gas fireplace may look good with all of the logs but it is too much for a small bowl. This set came with 2 of each of the 5 different shaped/sized logs.

C: The product is lightweight and glows when the flames are on.
The color and texture is ok for the price point.
The logs are of seemingly random shapes, the ten log set has two of every shape.
I could not get them to stack in the fireplace in a visually pleasing way.
The largest logs are pretty flat.
It would be nicer if there were three larger round logs to form a base for the smaller ones.
In my fireplace they would not stand up enough to stack other logs onto because they are so flat and lightweight they fall over.
They might work ok in a firepit.
After spending four hours trying to get them to stack I threw them out.
The designers should rework them so that they make a traditional stack as well as looking ok when tossed randomly in a fire pit.
