These hedge trimmers are not light weight and they are hard to open & close. They seem too tight, I really struggled with them. I’m returning them & ordering the ones I had prior. I have a bad right elbow and these are not going to work! I don’t recommend them if you have arthritis in your hands or a bad elbow.

richard mazzotta: I have never lopped anything in my life until I bought these bad girls therefor I hace no frame of reference for what makes good sheers. The product is a little heavier than I thought it would be. Had no problems trimming hedges, bushes, clipping thick vines and hearty weeds. The action and handle feel smooth as well. No mystery, it is what it is
