Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: When I made the decision to purchase a fitness tracker, I did a lot of research on what was on the market at the time. I ruled out Fitbit, as I read that they were overpriced and inaccurate, and started researching Garmin. I knew garmin was a reputable company that built good devices, so I started looking into the Vivosmart. The only thing that was holding me back was reading reviews of people’s devices falling apart after a few months of use. Well, I’m happy to say that after over a year and a half of use almost every day, my device is still working fantastically. I have a couple of minor scratches, but they’re only noticeable under glare. The battery life still holds up to 5 days of charge. The heart rate sensor is fairly accurate during normal conditions, and every time I go to the doctor and have my vitals checked, out of curiosity I cross check it with my watch and the watch is always accurate within 2-3 beats per minute. When exercising, however, the heart rate can be a bit inaccurate, but that’s not a reflection on garmin, merely a fault in all optical heart rate sensors. The steps counted are fairly accurate as well. I’ve gotten this watch...

Minka M.: I just received my Garmin Vivosmart 3, and I just hate it. I own a Fitbit Alta and wanted a fitness tracker with heart monitoring. I initially thought about buying the Alta HR, but everybody around me kept telling me how much they loved their Garmins. As I'm writing this review I am wearing both the Vivosmart 3 and my old Fitbit Alta. They are both basically the same thickness. The Vivosmart 3 is a bit wider than the Alta, not by much, but just enough to look manly on my thin wrists compared to the Alta. The screen has a silicone cover which feels quite nice to the touch and responds well, but it looks like it is permanently fogged over. It makes the scratched screen on my old Fitbit Alta look so bright and clear. The band material is quite nice and soft, much softer than the Alta's band, and I did not need interchangeable bands because after spending good money on three sets of Alta bands, I decided all you need is black. It might be boring but it goes with everything. My main problem with the Vivosmart 3 band is that it comes with an adjustable band that also looks quite manly on my wrist. Make sure you consider this before buying. I found out while wearing...

Erika Terriquez: This is tracker #4 for me. I have tiny wrists which meant I ordered a device and had to ship it back if it was too large or uncomfortable. I tried the Vivosmart HR which I liked but it didn't fit my wrist so I hoped this one would work. This tracker fits the best although I'm not a fan of the rubber used. I also liked the TomTom Spark but the display was so huge on me I had to send it back. There are several things that I liked which is why I bought it.

1) not always on display. I work from home and I need something to keep my active but not constantly in my face.
2) I love the move bar, at first I didn't like it but then I figured out how to get it to clear properly and now it's the best since I sit all day.
3) I really like the silent alarms. The other trackers I tested were very loud vibrating, one even woke up my boyfriend when it went off. This one I have set to low and it gently wakes me
3) Sleep data and not just how long I slept.
4) constant heart rate tracking, I want to keep tabs on my heart overall and not just during an activity.

These are the things I've really loved. There are a few things I'm bummed about.

1) I love...
