BAA: Ended up using mostly Google maps. Garmin is inaccurate in Ireland. Waste of money

Marc Robert Lalonde: Bought this Europe map for my Garmin Nuvi 2595lmt gps. Needed to drive in southern england on a holiday. Was very satisfied with the map. It indicated which exit to use on every roundabout ( and there are lots of them in England. ). Navigating without this tool would have been absolute hell. It worked flawlessly except in one new subdivision but dont expect the map to be super up to date. All in all I would recommend using this map. Haven't used it in the rest of Europe but if England was any indication I would expect this map to work great on your garmin gps.

David W Randall: We used the City Navigator Europe SD map in a US-purchased Garmin Nuvi 2555 LMT GPS unit (purchased in 2013).

The SD care ended up being super simple to install -- just pop the micro SD card into the appropriate slot on your GPS. There were no instructions, but it was easy. A youtube video showed me how to do.

The product comes with the maps on a micro SD card and full size SD card adapter into which the micro SD card can be put (if needed).

The City Navigator NT Europe card (purchased in 2017) seemed to include maps and points of interest for "All of Europe" (see vendor's description of exactly where). We had no map issues in France, Germany, Austria, or Italy.

Our rental cars ended up having installed GPS with much bigger screens. However, familiarity with how to make my own GPS function made me happy to have this. (and i didn't reserve cars with GPS, we just ended up with it).

The point of interest searching seemed a little slower than in the US. While it might have not have even been real, the slightly longer lag may be because it was installed in the microSD card memory, rather than internal system memory.

I think the description...

Barbara T: I bought this to use with my US purchased Sat Nav. It was a very simple job to slot it in place and it was ready to go. I felt that there could have been a few more spoken directions in a few places, and I never quite understand why these devices often want to take you back a different route to the one you came, but generally speaking I am very happy with the product.

Firewire: I got this SD card for my Garmin 3580 (same as 3590) and just returned from two weeks touring back roads of France. This was the best $70 I have spent in a long time, as it worked very well most of the time. It is a 2013 version so some new roads were not on the map, but most roads in France have been there for years. As with North America you have to be aware of where you are going and use some common sense when using Nav directions. I do remember navigating France by map, and this is much much better!!! I set priorities to avoid toll and unpaved roads, and it worked well except that it did route us onto some questionable routes, as most very small roads are paved, so could have picked better and faster routes. I am not sure why it did this as looking at the map it would seem other routes would be better, but we always got to our destination. The speed limit feature was often incorrect, but this is also the case in North America. In France in small towns the speed limit can change and there are no signs, so it was generally helpful. The rental car I had did have GPS but it was nice to use a familiar system that was more intuitive than VolksWagen GPS.

Bryan J. Gibson: For around $50 ($49 + shipping) I got this European complement to the America GPS I have--Garmin Nuvi 1370 or something like that (bought GPS this year, and it came with lifetime traffic and maps). The micro-SD card is about 1/2-inch x 3/4-inch, and it fit right into the side slot. They also include an SD adapter (twice the size or more) into which you can place the micro-SD card ... and then place the adapter in your GPS (I didn't have to use the adapter but I assume it works).
My wife and I (both American) took a 3-week vacation to 7 countries in central and eastern Europe. We visited Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Romania. I drove in all countries except Hungary (plane into Budapest and train out of Budapest to Timisoara, Romania). The total driven between 2 rental cars (1 was only for Romania) was over 2,200 miles. We had virtually no problems with navigation. (Once in Czech Republic we took a day trip from Prague 2 hours south to Cesky Krumlov, and halfway through that there was a detour for what looked less like roadwork and more like new construction on the motorway on which we were driving--not sure why that section of motorway was even...

Abonimouse: Because it is almost as cheap to buy a sat-nav as rent one on rental car in the US, we bought a US sat-nav to tour the Rockies last year, and decided to add the European maps when we came home.

Maps seemed good enough in UK, even in rural areas but in 2 week hols in Tuscany, Italy, I found there were quite a few bare patches on the maps in rural areas, and a few errors. Place marked as junctions, that were only bends. On the other hand, the points of interest worked ok. They omitted many places, but at least the ones that were covered seemed to work.

Pronunciation of Italian in Garmin English was a great source of amusement!

If I could give it 3 1/2 stars I would, but 3 seems unfair!
