Anónimo: Como todas las Ganzo que tengo iba practicamente seca de aceite por dentro, el cierre también va bastante duro, he intentado quitarle algo de rigidez a los resortes, pero por desgracia uno de los tornillos de la empuñadura está pasado de rosca y me ha sido imposible sacarlo (cuidado al desmontarla porque todos los tornillos llevan pegamento), así que solo he podido aflojar un lado, pero algo se nota
Lleva dos arandelas, una de cobre y otra de nylon, al engrasarlos también ha mejorado bastante. Ahora la hoja se mueve con más facilidad y no se nota arenosa como antes como si rozara con viruta (también ha salido algo de suciedad de fábrica), solo que en el último tramo de cierre el pasador hace fuerza contra la espiga y hay que ayudarse de la otra mano. Por una parte mejor así, de otra manera si la hoja se cerrara sola te puedes llevar un buen corte en un dedo, porque afilada está, no para cortar papel pero me he dado un par de toquecillos y tiene un filo típico de cuchillo de cocina
Un detalle que no me acaba de agradar es el material de las cachas, tengo otras con ese G10 que queda tan bonito en las fotos pero que se ensucia y desgasta enseguida, ya se empieza a...

Algo que sí que es verdad que no me gusta mucho es su backspacer. Algunos youtubers dicen que es g10, pero a mí me parece al tacto plástico común y corriente. Tienes que abrirla unas cuantas veces para que se mejore la apertura, al principio es áspera. El clip es algo anticuado a estas alturas, en el sentido de que ojalá no los hiciesen tan pulidos y fuesen "profundos".
Más haya de ello la calidad de la navaja es sublime, está al nivel de navajas entre 50 y 100 euros y algunas de 150. Además no tiene rodamientos, tiene arandelas, en mi opinión son mucho mejores, una de bronce y la otra de teflón y alrededor de este precio no te suelen traer arandelas. La hoja es mediana tirando a grande y la navaja es grandota, algo que yo quería y me esperaba al comprarla.
Muchos se quejan de que el cierre suele ser muy duro, pero a mí me parece correcto, pero yo soy una persona con bastante fuerza en las manos.
La calidad del acero es buena, es 440c muy parecido al de böker en mi opinión.

Free Agent: I have a LOT of Knives but I am not a Knife Snob. Every knife has its purpose(s) for me. I buy them for their individual functionality, type of metal, type of blade, shape of the blade, Price, etc. This Ganzo from what I can tell is a copy of the: Protech Lerch TR-5 which sells for right at $210.

Lets get to it. Out of the box it comes with a cloth bag and the knife, of course. Mine was Not razor sharp. It did cut paper very well with some very minute tearing along the way. So I hit it with a diamond rod about 6 times each side, now its razor sharp.

Here's the deal, I grew up country (still am to a degree) we raised our food and hunted it too for survival. There is a difference in cutting paper and cutting skin, meat, etc. This knife did not impress me in the cutting paper department but the way the tip accidentally cut my finger that impressed me for a fact. It was a small cut (about 1/8 of an inch long) but it was deep and no kidding it bleed for about 10 minutes before finally stopping after applying a Band-Aid using constant pressure.

D.Staton: I like the way these knives come packaged. It is a well thought out design. The outer wrap box is a standard flap style box. inside one finds a sturdy cardboard inner tray that holds the knife. It is wrapped in a double layer of bubble wrap and is well protected. There is also a cloth pouch which can be used to store or carry the knife in. I unwrapped and inspected the knife and found the material, fit, and finish to be good. Better than what I had expected in fact and the knife looks like a quality knife.

Upon opening the blade I was not as impressed. The first few times of opening and closing the blade were rough feeling. I suspect a bit of metal shavings were in or around the pivot point. I opened and closed it 10 or so times and it did improve but was not right. So I decided to do a quick clean-up that I do to all my carry knives periodically. It involves dish detergent, hot water, and various nylon and brass bristle brushes.

After the cleaning the blade opened and closed much better. I lubricated the pivot point again and the knife was now opening and closing as I thought it should. The blade lock is similar to the brand name knife company who calls their...
