A Davidson: Nice box, tight seal, good latch closure. Looks nice with metal trim. When I opened it up there was one of the strongest plastic smells I’ve experienced. Airing it out for 3+ days didn’t reduce the smell. Washing it with a vinegar solution seems to work on the smell. I will be using this for craft supplies & look forward to years of use from it.

Felice A Ruggiero: The tool box is average. It is not steel. It has metal panels incorporated into the design. The black parts of the photo are plastic the silver parts are metal of some sort. Even if the metal parts are some version of “steel”, it is not a steel tool box.

Gabrielle Gallon: I bought this tool box for my dad for Father's Day this year. He can be rough sometimes on his work materials. So, I knew that whatever toolbox I sought out to buy would have to be sturdy above all plus tough enough to withstand my dad's work. :) He loves it and brags about how sturdy it is for his tools. I would recommend for all fathers and handy-men out there!

V. Reynolds: I do high-fire stoneware ceramics pottery. I'm learning how to use under-glazes. They come in little jars, and I need to have a lot of them in the various colors. I laid out all my jars on the table, measured the space they took up, and concluded that this was the box which would hold them all. I was so pleased when I received it -- they all fit perfectly! I also like the removable top tray, which holds my brushes and some small ceramics tools. The box is kind of big. Pay attention to the stated measurements y'all -- it just barely fits in my cubby shelf in our communal ceramics studio. Someone reviewed that the clasp handles were sharp and hazardous. They did seem to have a slightly harsh edge. Fortunately, I have some white gaffers tape here. I just put some on the tip of each handle. Makes it really easy to open and close the box. If you buy this box, I recommend this comfort adjustment with whatever adhesive tape you might have on hand. Some people fuss that the "steel" is not thick. Seems fine to me. It provides a fun reflective surface inside the box. It is possible that if you use it for heavy metal tools that flop around in the box, that you might have some issue. But for...
