Amazon User: Highly recommend this chair to get away from the everyday office chair you can lounge in. Helps with posture and with fixing your posture helps back pain/tightness. Only thing I recommend is paying attention to where you put the locking wheels. The slightest pressure on the tabs for the locks they will lock the wheel.

jerake: As I approach my 50's I don't want to turn into a hunchback - working out helps but I noticed I am slumping more due to sitting and working all day. Really wanted a chair to help with my posture, lower back and neck pain, and I purchased this after reading the reviews.

Setup wasn't too bad - the instructions are printed very small (even the pictures, and yes I was wearing my glasses), and some of the written instructions made me chuckle ("press hard with hammer", for example, that still makes me laugh). Biggest issue with the installation was putting the small plate on the bottom of the wheel base - when putting the wheel base onto the main chair, it won't insert all the way (not even with my full body weight on it, nor "pressing hard with hammer" lol), so I just had to leave it most of the way inserted, and toss the little plate and screw to cover the bottom hole.

I am surprised at how much I like sitting on this chair - it's very sturdy, surprisingly so, seems well made, and way more comfortable than my desk chair. So far, it's helping me to sit straighter for longer. I also don't catch myself slumping over into the hunchback position - so far so good! I have very...

happy mom: Sturdy and good quality material. Easy to put together too. Having that said after months of using and trying to make a conscious effort to sit well and use it for exercise while working I’ve found zero benefits. I’m in decent fitness shape and nothing has changed aligned with the benefits it says to come with for me.

James A. Watriss: I bought this because I'm spending a lot of time at my workbench height desk, and needed something that was more comfortable than my regular stools. I'm a heavier user, which factors in.

-First problem solved: The back was wayyyyy too far forward. I couldn't center myself on the top of the ball, and the metal tubes run into the plastic webbing in the undercarriage. I used a pipe-cutter to shorten the tubes by about 4" or so, then I could sit on top of the ball.

-Second problem solved: The cutout in the front of the frame allows the ball to squoosh forwards. Because it's on wheels, you can't really push it back, or it shoots out, and then you're on your butt. And the ability of the ball to deform out the front, just makes it a weird experience, because I felt like I was always fighting with the chair to get it to feel good. If you look at their earlier models, this is clearly a problem they had to deal with before, which they solved with a metal arch that holds the front of the ball in. Well, I didn't want to go to that length, so I used a nylon ratchet strap, hooked around the metal bars, basically 45 degrees up from below the back, up over the front, and back again....

dwayne: I purchased this chair after having used just an exercise ball as a chair and wore out 2 of them.
This was the second type of chair i purchased. better than the first.
only think i did not like was the ball restraint bar broke early one but it was not really needed.
I was looking for a chair that would help relieve the pain in my legs after learning that my nerves were compressed after years of chair sitting on the job.
Thanks to the pandemic and working from home, i was able to determine that the exercise ball chairs worked wonderfully!
