SARAH: I love these gloves. I was so tired of being pricked by my rose thorns but with these gloves I didn't feel a thing. The gloves are a little stiff, but I hope that changes over time. I tried to handle a really thorny branch and it did not stick me at all. The only negative is they are not waterproof but that is no big deal.

Jean Sheridan: I had been hacking down a lot of goldenrod which is highly irritating on the skin and these solved the problem. They are also good for dealing with thorny shrubs and roses.

MrsG: Bought these to wear while cut down my rose bushes. They help but the thorns definitely get through them still. They’re a nice heavy duty glove for anything other than that.

RF: only used them once so far but they fit well and I was trimming thorny bushes without issue. Hope the hold up as time goes on.

Compared to shorter gloves, these allow me to reach deep into bushes without ripping the flesh off my forearms!
They allow a good grip and are cool enough to wear in hot weather.
While they aren't perfect in the anti-thorn penetration department, they are nice gloves that prevent scratches and scrapes and are comfortable to wear, so I give them 5 stars because the men's leather gloves are so bulky that I really prefer these.
