Amazon Customer: Got 2 of these and could not love them more! Legs are the favorite around my house, and I often wonder why they haven't generated an 8 legged chicken yet. One was a little wonky in getting all the pieces working together but fussed with it for a couple of minutes and all was well.
I love kitchen tools and expected this to be just ok, but not great. I have used them 3 times in the last 2 weeks! Work sooooo great. The legs come out perfectly and evenly cooked, crispy skin, no need to turn them, they don't sit in their own juice while cooking.
I dry very well, sprinkle Garlic and Tony's on them, place on racks and let sit out for a few minutes to dry a little more for more crispy skin. Works great. 375° for 45 min. or so. Use a meat thermometer.
I do use the trays with veggies on them, so far Brussels sprouts, Cauliflower and Carrots. The chicken flavor gets on the veggies like a good pot roast. Yum. The carrots worked the best. The other two were a bit overcooked, so would probably have to stage them - adding after 15 minutes, which would be a bit of a pain. Andrew Maldonado: I’ve had thicker racks in the past. This one is a tad flimsy and like other reviewers have said. Put foil on the tray because it’s very hard to clean after cooking some chicken. Decent product and I’ll keep using it until it breaks .
