Amazon Customer: I will return this product. The clock malfunctions, the hour won't set, just the minutes. The big gripe with me is I thought it had a stainless steel tank but it's only a cosmetic trim over the plastic tank and the coffee had a plastic aftertaste. If the tank had been stainless I would've kept it with the broken clock. The details describe the maker as stainless and I think it would be best to mention the plastic tank in the details.

D1: This product actually looks better than I expected and everything worked as it should. The coffee strength boost feature works well and allows me to use a little less coffee but still get regular strength thus saving $. The only feature I didn’t like was the clock being in military (Zulu) time only.
That isn’t really a problem for me but can be a little confusing for some folks. If you use the timer function you will need to understand military time. It’s really not hard to learn and actually makes a lot of sense once learned.
The straining basket is ok but I prefer using paper filters for convenience and they are #4
