Dm: i was expecting a brush nib, but the nib was really small, i can live with it though. no complaints. It is a little dry from time to time but im guessing thats because its a calligraphy pen and i use it for drawing. over all good quality. it also came with a stencil to help with handwriting which is pretty cool

Eva M.Eva M.: Ich benutze diesen Stift von Tombow hauptsächlich für mein Reading Journal und liebe ihn. Er eignet sich sowohl für Schriften als auch fürs Zeichnen. Er schreibt sehr präzise und franst nicht aus. Für mich gibt es keinen besseren Handlettering-Stift. Ich nutze dazu auch die Brush Pens von Tombow, die meiner Meinung nach die besten sind. Die Stifte dieser Marke haben zwar ihren Preis, sind es aber meiner Meinung nach wert und halten lange. Ich nutze 160-gsm-Papier, hier habe ich keinerlei Probleme mit Bleeding, auch nicht bei größeren Flächen. Eine Empfehlung von mir für den Tombow Fudenosuke.

N: Habe den Stift schon mehrmals nachgekauft, weil er einfach perfekt ist. Ich war lange auf der Suche nach einem guten schwarzen Kalligraphie Stift und habe damit den perfekten gefunden. Er ist sehr einfach in der Handhabung, denn auch wenn ich kein Profi darin bin, entstehen wunderschöne Karten etc. Damit :)

Taxidermy Opossum Reviews: I'm a pen snob. You know that person who has a dumb hipster fountain pen in their bag, in 2023, just for fun? That me. And I love this pen.

Even if I hate to admit it, you can't always use or carry a fountain pen. For moments I can't, this is my current favorite pen. Writes smooth, allows for your handwriting to really stand out, works on darn near every surface I've tried it on outside of plastic. Perfect to keep next to your sticky notes, because it doesn't feather or bleed even on super thin paper like that.

Definitely recommend for anyone who likes being able to have more stylized writing than a rollerball or ballpoint pen, without worrying about the potential explosive mess of a fountain pen.

Kayla Judd: I really want to be able to love this pen, as I have read stellar reviews on it. While the pen came in brand new packaging, I felt that it was a little dried out when I received it. Even when holding properly, I didn't get a clear black line like I was expecting to. I found myself having to go back in and fill in the parts where the ink wasn't as bold. I thought maybe it was due to the type of paper I was using, but I tried this pen on several different types of paper and had the same results with all.

I will say it is very easy to learn with and when the ink flows freely, it works like a charm. Maybe I just got stuck with a lemon pen? Given the great reviews on this pen, I would still be willing to try and buy it again. It definitely deserves another shot!

Hafsah Faizal: I recently ordered this and the Fudenosuke Soft for my lettering projects. The pen has a slightly silky finish, so it's easier to grip and doesn't slide out of dry hands when working. The nib isn't completely hard, so there's still some 'brush' flexibility, which is great when lettering precise strokes.

The text on the pen and packaging isn't in English, so there's no way to know what it says. It's a little hard to differentiate between the Soft and Hard Nib pens because of this, but if you'll look closely, you'll see that the Hard nib says BH and the Soft nib says BS. Obviously harder to notice when you make a grab for the nearest brush pen!

I love using the pen, which brings me to my gripe! The ink dries out very quickly, and there will be streaks when your use the pen at a stretch. I like the variation when lettering, but there are times when I wish the ink lasted longer. I noticed the ink 'discrepancies' within the first two weeks of use, so it's not that I've owned it for long. Alas, nothing is ever perfect, is it?
